Next Phase

The Company is optimistic that it has identified a major, hitherto unknown low-sulphidation epithermal system, potentially similar in scale to that which produced the giant precious metal deposits at Cerro Negro, Cerro Vanguardia and others.

The objective of the next phase of work will be to focus down to areas within this rift system that may be the most attractive structural conduits for fluid flow and mineral deposition. Work programs may include more detailed geochemistry, electrical geophysics (resistivity and IP) and reconnaissance drilling. Data will be assessed further, and options developed over the winter recess.

In the meantime, the Company has completed and submitted all the necessary environmental studies that are required as part of the Santa Cruz Province drilling permit process. Consideration of these reports and drilling approval is expected to take several months and it is thus anticipated the Company will have drilling permits later in the year.

Shift focus to Colombia

Field work at El Pantano has now wound down for the winter and technical teams will shift focus to the Company's Anzá gold project in Colombia.

As has been announced, the Company is in the process of reassuming 100% ownership of the Anzá project from its joint venture partners. While this complex commercial process continues, Orosur geologists are currently in Colombia carrying out the necessary planning and permitting required to allow commencement of drilling activities as soon as possible after completion of the transaction.

Orosur CEO Brad George commented:

"El Pantano was taken on as a completely grass roots project, but one with positive regional geological indicators. It is pleasing that our work thus far has supported our view of the potential of the region and that at very low cost, the Company has generated a highly prospective array of gold targets in a buoyant gold market."

Great post Dr, isn't it crazy that when you take all those things into account, we sit here at 9m M Cap. The market wants something concrete, once that happens, along with the expected high grade drill results coming in, then OMI will be firmly on the radar of many. The stock will move quickly, especially with the few shares available, not to mention if there are large director buys coming . For me this is primed, and this quiet period is a great opportunity to accumulate before Orosur becomes a very different beast, rising into the gold bull run

I do find these very regular tiny trades very odd, never seen that on any other share

I have done the same thing Sharetrader. It’s a shame to me, don’t know what happened there, but I have been equally fed up with the bile. Happy to hear does and against for any investment, but not continual bashing which has little to no relevance

*Precious metals industry

Delay is normal in business, more common than getting things done in estimated time, but you can amplify that when dealing with previous metals industry

There will be a hell of a lot for them to go through to get to end goal were everyone is happy

Bhargav, your credibility here for me has been diminishing by the day, with your insane flip flopping views, one minute positive as hell, then next bashing the sh*t out of OMI, Brad & Co. That last post though, is beyond ridiculous, this is a chat forum, and quite honestly, because of the aforementioned all over the place views, you’ve brought the comments on yourself. I wouldn’t tell anyone what to do, but I would suggest you may want to give the chat a break for a while, maybe better for you to get some perspective

Wrong thread?

Completely agree with that Chicken, Sotolo, who has been here longer than any here, can give opinion and advice worthy of taking on board. Although totally agree also with sharetrader, having been burnt with the company in the past, can lead to an understandably blinkered view of how the position of the company actually stands today, which in my opinion, is in a VERY good position

Any newbies reading this guys drivel need to look at all of his posting history, a few positive posts, and then constantly bashing the very shares he has "invested". Only good things happing here with promised possible (most likely) positive news imminent from brad, gold on a rising trend, share price firming up nicely...why on earth would anyone constantly bash a share they have put money into, putting attention grabbing, extremely negative thread titles, when there hasn't even been any bad news??!!

Very much an oddball that one, seen all sorts over my 15+ years investing, nothing like he/she. Posting history is a bit insane. Quite entertaining though. Still think it's Brad's bitter ex, probably bitter she doesn't get to ride the Anza gold elephant with him :)
