Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
Read the whole thing, number of companies signing up is growing. No its not a blockbuster RNS but the company is developing. They will drop the price this am to grab some shares and then it will bounce back. Don't get mugged.
Repeat of eralier post who mentioned If. it's just starting to seem more and more apt with each passing minute. If you were thinking about going all in then now is the time to do it. Death or Glory!!!!
PS - I'm not, that would be ****ing bonkers.
So who fancies it then. It's going to come after hours and so if stonking news you'll have to be in it otherwise trying to buy tomorrow morning will be very hard.
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

SYME also confirms that it will be issuing a Trading Update to the market before the end of this month.
So he did say in March which is why people read the latest RNS of within the month as confirmation of it being in March.
So yesterday I saw the news about rising inflationary pressures and tech stocks showing a slight dip in pre-trading and correctly called that Tesla would drop. I was feeling pretty chuffed with myself as Tesla fell 7%, and was expecting this to go up about 20% but it didn't bloody move. I've been watching this for a bit and finally had the courage to buy in (the leverage is a bit scary), and the bloody price didn't move. Is anyone able to explain why?!
Well said Ted. Had a punt here on Friday before news was released but stuck in meetings all morning so missed selling on the spike. Thought about it over the weekend and decided to see how it played out as only punt money and liked the thought of some quick JV news. All told lost a couple of hundred so no tears but a valuable reminded that if real money involved not to be greedy.
Not been in one before - they just feel too risky. Have been looking at alternative energy companies hence being here and wondering whether to invest. Saw the PB offer and have just been taking a look. Hoever if you are new to Ceres like me I'd take more time to work it out. Not writing Ceres off, but not investing in this way.
Accelerated Bookbuild (Finance) Definition
An accelerated bookbuild is a method whereby the offering of new shares in the equity or capital market is done within a short period. The bookbuild of the offering is completed quickly, often within 48 hours or less. This method provides an offer to a company or an investor to purchase stocks in the equity market in a short period of time. Companies use the accelerated bookbuild method when they want to acquire another firm or when they are in dire need of financing. Little or no marketing is done when using accelerated bookbuild.
A Little More on What is Accelerated Bookbuild
Book building is a process in the equity market whereby buyers (investors) make demand for shares and other security products during an initial public offering (IPO). For an IPO to take place, an underwriter must be present, this could be a professional investment manager, an accountant or an investment bank. An accelerated bookbuild however is that in which the offering of shares or stocks is done within a short period of time. Companies that are in dire need of financing and do not want to opt for debt financing use the accelerated bookbuild method. This method is an alternative route of obtaining quick financing within a little time. Oftentimes, accelerated bookbuild transactions are done overnight. The bookbuild process takes one or two days. An accelerated bookbuild serves as an opportunity for companies that wants to urgently obtain financing in the equity or capital market. Companies offer shares or stocks in a short period using the accelerated bookbuild. Investment banks and financial institutions who can serve as underwriters in the IPO are called by a firm who wants to make the offering. It is often done as an auction-like transaction, the highest bidder takes the offering. This type of offers are made to qualified investors, usually high net worth firms or investors.
Nope - you don't get to know the price until it's over:
" The price at which the Placing Shares are to be placed (the "Placing Price") will be determined at the end of the Bookbuild. The Subscription Shares and the Retail Shares will also be subscribed for at the Placing Price."
