Oh and I forgot to say, that the reply i got from those idiots at the PR company was ridiculous ie to para-phrase they said they could not report quantities of shippment as it went against their NDA ?? We are not idiots we know what the resposibilities of listed companies are. I suppose we will hear that Rolls Royce will stop reporting engine shippments and revenus etc, cus they dont feel like it !

My personal view (putting aside lack of trust in the BOD) is that this will come good but is being coerced down to allow a stake to be built by their pals/relatives etc. If I am therefore right this may end up being a decent investment after all. As I have said previously, I chose this over KOD but at least KOD has held its price.

In the mail I got back from KENV's PR people they stated they were 'on target' for production .

missthepenny - a lot of what you say makes sense but I got a message back from KENV's PR company Comarco slightly irately saying this : "Regarding your email, please be aware that Kennedy cannot disclose specific figures around production and shipments. This would be in breach of their customer agreement which has confidentiality clauses. I am sure you can appreciate to breach such clauses would be highly detrimental to the business. Kennedy has disclosed detailed information around expected production schedules in their latest presentation which should be read in light of a shift in focus to grade and quality of product vs volume - something the tantalum consumer market is focussed on. The company is delivering against its targets and the mine is operating well as per our latest announcement". I replied saying how can production and shippment revenues be secret in a listed company, so the next thing is that RIO Tinto and BHP Billiton will just stop reporting any production figures etc etc - I think not ! This makes no sense ??? Its all very well for people to say DYOR on these boards, but truthfully the useful research you can do with companies like this is mostly guesswork.

Yes perfectly true you can use 1 fibre with disparate wavelengths for each channel in each direction. But as I said CF are not a service provider they are a wholesale connectivity/infrastructure provider.

EIH- again you are not understnding CF's business model ! I never said that CF have active equipment and wavelength services on the fibre connectivity they provide. What I was saying was this is is possible once you have fibre to put n x 100Gbps waves down a single fibre pair. And I am sorry but I am correct that CF have a contract with CF for connectivity in some parts of their network. It is true that Vodafoner still use a vast amount of Openreach and BT wholesale for a lot of their cell site backhaul needs but one of the the reasons VF bought Cable and Wireless a few years ago was to lessen their dependance on BT. You have to understnad that these are big National networks and there would never be just one connectivity provider, but my experience is that most people try to lessen their exposure to BT. Virgins FTTP project is a consumer led project and as I said previously this is not Cityfibres business.

EIH - as an industry veteran I want to comment on your post a little. Firstly Vodafone are using CF infrastructure. Virgin have reasonable coverage but at relatively low speeds as they are an end-user carrier whereas you could say CF are more of a carriers carrier. Also, Virgin are not to my knowledge inv olved in large scale fibre build-outs in the way that CF are. Also, you speak of residential customers which is great but this is not really CF's business model so you are comparing apples with pears to a large extent. Think of CF as the 38 tonner that moves stuff regionally and the likes of Virgin as the Fiesta van which delivers stuffto your home !

Not really an accurate statement. Cityfibre use terms like Gigabit Cities and Gigabit Britain as marketing rhetoric, as most no-technical people understand this as they have gome across Gigabit Ethernet etc etc.However the truth is more wonderful than this. CF provide fibre infrastructure and connectivity that actually allows multi-gigabit connectivity and in some cases with the latest technology multi-100Gbps wavelenghths on a single fibre pair. Trouble is this is confusing for the guy in the street so we just stick to talking about Gigabit speeds.

Lobon - I understand you are cross, I am cross also. But bnow we sort of know someone is loading up on the cheap this is a big posiitve. We all know that true research is not really very possible with AIM shares, and we are never party to the conversations that go on in pubs and restaurants that lead to 'mates' being let in on the cheap. So I am going to try and be a bit more positive on this share based on this.

Yes agreed this is being screwed with big time ! CF is a very solid business with more valuable and appreciating fiber infrastructure by the day.

I contacted FCA todat to see if they have breached any reporting rules regarding their lack of reported figures, I have only done this due to the lack of replys to several e-mails to the company. I doubt if FCA will do anything as they are toothless tigers that are only interested in multi billion � frauds but hey ho I feel a bit better.

Its never a good thing really to have significant rise in a share without a reason, and in this case the share price bombed or was oversold because of 2 specific reasons, so we expect to hear a reversal on at least one of these reasons which I think is logical.

Still waiting for this...

Smacks of the Quindell affair where a shorting attack was launched by a US broker/analyst. However I have seen no such thing relating to SHP but am willing to be proved wrong.

Why would you short this ?? I though you would only short a share that had a lot of dissapointing or potentally hazardous outcomes or financial reports, I have not been able to find what is not to like about this share ??
