Interesting albeit heavy reading. I have a look at the GS Total Return commodity index on Bloomberg and it does seem true but I dont claim to understand all of this stuff.

Dont think so -- no really significant trades, no new news or even theories this is just an MM's beer money artificial spike ! They do this with all stagnant AIM shares as far as I can see.

I'm a firm believer that there are no friends in business -- its best to keep the two apart !

There are no short positions on this as far as I can see, so the hedge fund guys dont think it should be going down ...

I think you have to chalk it up as a scam -- thats what I did. The AIM story as long as the board can string it out they keep getting their salaries to add to other salaries from other shady directorships.

Must have taken them a while to fill this, this boads well for a good open tomorrow..

Havent read this to be fair, but all other indications show that the Woodford aura of invincibity seems to be gone if it was ever there. He hasnt moved with the times in my opinion. Although Hargreaves Lansdown still worships the Earth he walks on still ! I was lucky in that I invested at the right time in his equity income fund to take some profit but I now only have a small holding in this together with a lump of this share that has festered in my portfolio for a couple of years now.

Exactly what I put in the message to KENV which they have not replied to -- a reminder that I am a part owner of this company.

I bet they woukld have helped if some Tory Lord had massive skin in the company !!!

Agree with this post, but say again this board is very gentle compared to most others !!

Thats the reality of these boards. This board is very mild, but on some of the other boards I post on there are people with very aggressive ramp/de-ramp agendas. There are some guys who can flip from one to the other in the space of an hour. If people cant take comments with a pinch of salt they may be heading for the rocks ! There is ample evidence there are also paid rampers around who are on the company pay-roll (nee brown paper bag) on some shares !

Dangerous thing is that there is so little trading on this share someone like this could actually make a difference...

There are 2 points I take from these posts :- 1) There has never ever been any evidence that any BOD on AIM have ever cared about private investers, however I have to say with RENE they did have Woodford and Invesco on board which you would think is impressive, although this has to be tempered with Woodfords pitifull performance of late. 2) Any company run by academics has to ring an alarm bell. They may be clever but lack the aggression that a new start business requires. This is definately part of the issue with RENE. Its no good posting RNS's thsat say we are close to do something wonderfully cool, but not saying how it is planned to monetise it .

Whatever -- they had better pull something out of the bag because this silence is looking ridiculous. I have a good mind to drop into their office as I am often down in Wales.
