Were you not demanding hedge in the high 60s at the start of 2021? Many on here were.

Likewise in December 2021 - many saying that AB should have been hedging in the 70s when the price dropped to 65. From the OU it seems ENQ held the line.

And again I try to discuss the company and get you 2 bleating on.

I think people can probably do the maths and judge for themselves.

Prolific don’t seem to want to go above the reportable 3% so I am in no doubt that they will sell down before they claim the next tranche of shares due to them.

Why wouldn’t they? Sell £200k worth at a small loss and get the other £800k worth at a big discount. That’s why people have called this finance death spiral. All brought to us by the Gneiss folks at Gneiss.

I have just checked back to make sure I am not dreaming it. Between January and July 2019 I bought £35k of SOLO shares in chunks of 1.5k. Into my SIPP.

I sold in the month of September 2019 for £42k.

Can’t believe I risked £35k on SCIR!!

Agreed Caddy - as I say it’s all luck…the last time I held shares I intended to be more or less a LTH but saw an opportunity to take a small profit and get into a more attractive investment. That covered my earlier losses here and thankfully my eyes were opened to the way the company operates, and the likely direction of travel for the SP.

Let’s be honest, most people here just want a spike they can get out on. I bet everyone is kicking themselves for not selling at 2p. Seem to remember I was calling a spike and we had Chris and AA trying to ramp it higher!! Surprise surprise.

Now 2-3p is touted as a good SP if the BOD can ever pull off a sale of Ruvuma

If you read the RNS you will see the words POSSIBLE, POTENTIAL, and OPTIONS. This is all highly speculative language. Seems obvious to me that they have nothing, no matter how EXCITED they personally feel.

Chris - there are no facts there. Only hopes and dreams. Writing an opinion in an RNS does not make it a fact.

Highland…I agree to an extent…problem I see is that they don’t seem to be able to fund new deals. The cynic in me wonders whether the new strategy is just playing for time to keep themselves in a job and keep the fees flowing to gneiss. These AD businesses are inherently small scale. The BOD seem to think they can add value by gathering them all into a listed company. My view is that they need significant scale before they can add value. Still very high risk until they can prove that they can acquire more assets and start improving margins.

It would be very interesting to see their projections of when they could become profitable as topco.

Tide is turning in our favour I think.

I think labour have played this poorly in calling for windfall tax. David Lammy was also interviewed. I found it interesting that he seemed to be reluctant to call out the Gov of the BOE on workers getting pay rises in line with inflation. It seemed like a ploy not to come across as anti business. But on the other hand he is wanting to tax these disgusting oil profits.

I think with the cost of fuel and household energy we will see the public swing behind encouraging investment. It makes no sense to rely on foreign countries for oil and gas that we (still) need…

The reason the SP is fairly priced IMHO:

1. Topco and Gneiss costs. The EAG investment isn’t worth much with such a cash hungry management structure and overheads. If the greenan farm were a private family business then it would be a nice little side hustle. It’s not really a business worth SCIRs listing.

2. Ruvuma uncertainty - is it saleable (quickly)? At what price? If not, is funding available for it? And at what cost?

3. There is also likely to be selling by Prolific basins. This is a death spiral arrangement IMHO. It may also make SCIR uninvestable for new funding routes (e.g. why would anyone participate in a placing when dilution by prolific is not known. I suspect this is the reason why the BOD have not funded Uvuma work programme.

Basically the BOd have got themselves in a very sticky situation IMHO.

Romaron - reserves life has always been the argument against ENQ IMHO. We only have 8 years I think?

Very cheap 2C conversion opportunities available, and once refinance is done there should be plenty of cash to get after this sustainably over the next few years.

I don’t honestly know how all that money was spent. I guess Athena maybe was a money pit?
