Going the early production route (if that is your proposal) would also be a bad move IMHO. Not an efficient way to develop, and would still take a long time to get hooked up, even if wells are good to go.

Hopefully we get an investable long term plan from the U.K. gov, maybe with some fast track approvals and financing assistance.

Ultimately big companies buy innovation.

Royal Mail and DPD are currently trialling them on their EV fleets.

Auson - check out a private company called Enso.

They have developed EV tyres that don’t shred themselves.

A favourable refinance should do it IMHO.

And hopefully a nice surprise in terms of acquisitions (I suspect unlikely) or projects.

The French did not have the fascist playbook to recognise as we do now. It was all new back then.

There are a lot of similarities with the run up to WW2, but what Putin does not have is popular support, or a strong ideology. I don’t know how much we can believe about low morale in the Russian military, but it does appear to be a very poor start if the goal is domination of multiple countries.

We have the Ukrainians to thank. WW2 would have been over rather quickly if the French and Low Countries had fought on the streets of Paris etc I think.

WW2 and it’s lessons are still fresh and I don’t think we will end up in that place. China has all the tools of a fascist regime, and the removal of term limits is a big red flag. But I don’t think Xi wants a global war.
