Hi Krak - yep, can see some excitement starting to build in the new year.

Probably won't be here for long because I'm not convinced about debt repayment in October. But room for a decent rise between now and then that I will be able to get out on. Hopefully no nasty RNS between now and ops update!

Ruvuma needs to be sold ASAP to get some real cash for acquisition of producing assets. I am not happy with this BOD using these dubious financing methods. We need cash and either return to shareholders and shutdown the business or use it to buy a producing asset.

I would prefer the former because the board have demonstrated that they cannot secure a good deal on a producing asset. Why would we give them a second chance???

Ariel - I said "IF" we can't get the permissions to exploit it. And I have now clarified that I believe the regulatory regime is unpredictable and therefore we MAY have further permissions to seek in future.

I could also add "exploit it in a timely manner"

Time has a cost. How many millions have been spent on the delays??

Will some other permit be required further along? The political and regulatory regime is totally unpredictable.

The company will not be sold IMHO. If restructure and resulting smaller ENQ is not possible then the banks and bondholders will take over and sell off the assets.

Great post. It would be great if ENQ could grow or at least maintain production but they really have no choice I think but to slash all but the most profitable barrels.

This will go on for the next few years IMHO. We could see a much more modest enquest if it still exists in 3 years time. Maybe a 10k to 20k barrels per day company.

Survival is still a big IF though. I can see there being a forced sale of the kraken stake to help pay off debt.

Not much use having all that gas if you can't get the permissions to exploit it or the cash to develop it. Another loser IMHO.
