Leeds - enquest tends to be unloved / lightly traded. We have seen these value gaps several times in the past. The re-rate is quick when it happens. See last January where I got a nice 75% profit banked in a month - only corona spoiled the party for those that didn't get out.

I've not looked at GKP for a few years. Quick glance suggests some stability there and production growth. Is that the reason for the steady rise over the last few months?

They have doubled in the last couple of months I see. I would say there is an easy double for ENQ with oil at $55. SP driver is debt payment by October. Possible acquisitions with innovative financing. Kraken premium to brent of up to 20%. Improving Macro outlook. Long term production growth at low cost.

Does anyone know if krakenoil is OK? He is usually right on these rises.

Yes it is misleading to say we are being carried.

We were diluted by an equity placing (e.g the IPO) from 14% down to 5% (chris can tell you real percentages - this is rough from memory?)

Remember the IPO hugely undervalued the asset which is why we now own next to nothing of it!!!!

Huge capital outlay would be required to the topsides and subsea to accept the CO2. The whole CCS is immature technology. Nobody is making money off this and the concept is not proven at a commercial scale.

I really don't understand what value you think ENQ can add. There are hundreds of old wells in the NS. Nobody is queuing up to use them for CCS.

I agree with your assessment...BOD probably have 6 months before any moves get on their feet. I would be inclined to go sooner but as you say, I don't have a grip of the large members that you have access to.

Google or investopedia is always a good start but you can't beat experience! In a few years time you might be in my place and able to highlight these types of red flags.
