My view is that Ruvuma is a short term liability if held. It is consuming money, not making money.
It is only an asset if it can be sold or exploited.
And that is the problem. The asset is too costly for a company of our size. It should have been sold on to someone with deeper pockets years ago.
Chris - what is your timeline for these 3 events you mention? What is the cost to get there? What will the sale price be at that time?
It should not take this long to monetize an asset. There are better places that a 10 to 15 million dollars could be invested for shareholder returns.
Ariel - do you think it is acceptable that it took 2 years for the AEX farm out to complete? For me it shows that Tanzania is a very difficult place to invest.
