Shalateens interests are in keeping the militaries Pension Fund healthy.
When they tried to sell with an ,shall we say over optimistic 1.8 million ounce supposed new find last year, Sawaris was the only bidder. He quickly lost interest.
Point 2.
Makes sense for EMRA, and Centamin.
Saves million as well as time.
Its possible they both already know of hot spots.
EMRA can do what they choose, and Centamin they know well.
EMRA make the rules in Egypt. Who would dare quetion their authority ?

Do a little more homework, new concessions are on new terms. From earlieir this year or was it last year.
It suited Centamin at the time ? 2005.

With strong Government and Military connections if yo look carefully.
Wouldnt be surprised to see Naguib Sawaris funding the concessin or conceeions for a good return. IE a lot o dosh.

Paul, you forget that when production rises the profit rises.
Given Gold doesn't drop back to $1050 as was the case in the past.
But even then the company made a profit, even though it was still claiming back investment in plant from EMRA.
So realistically speaking CEY has far less to worry about than most. Having new prospects lined up,one would expect at lest another find.
