As the title says...it's just a waiting game for me till Mooky hits his 190/share threshold.

I've been watch the case and both parties seem to have convincing arguments at times.
I was hoping for a win (bias) but I agree with Mountainous Possible Draw, probable loss with minimal to zero damages impact.

We will find out in time, it would be nice pre New Year, I guess more likely in the early 2022.

I do enjoy reading the posts here for educational and entertainment value... With my limited knowledge I thought I would invest in Cineworld as I believe the current price is suppressed and post Covid-19 and court case this has the potential to double in the next 6 months in my opinion. Well I'm hoping and waiting just to see if my gut feel is right. If not, I'm sure I will learn along the way!

I'm new to trading and find this chat forum very educational :-)
Just thought I'd share some facts.... Cineplex have increase by 5.52% over the past month vs Cineworld 7.75%
Past 5 days Cineplex -0.57% vs Cineworld -3.35%
As a novice I would view the above as Cineplex having the upper hand according to the markets??

Also, on both Cineplex / Cineworld Forums they seem to interpret the ongoing case is in their favour.
It will be interesting to see the outcome (Obviously I'm hoping for a good result for Cineworld, as that's the reason why I've invested (place my bet, so to speak).

I guess a test would be if they had to cease trading at the same point in time as the sale fell through what would be the value of their debts / liabilities? From previous post / news, this figure would have been far greater than -£725m!
From my point of view isn't this a case of 'Buyer Beware', and rightly so, Cineworld pulled out.

I don't think we can put your mind at rest, if it was clear cut the issue would not have gone to court.
Either way (IMO) once this has concluded I don't see a reason why this SP will not head back up to >£1 as Covid-19 hopefully does not have any further cause for restrictions etc.
