Lets go with that for time being... My info gleamed online through various sources says for an asset sold in India. The long term capital gains tax payable is 12.5% on profits. Long term is classed as over 2 years so Cambay qaulifies as long term.

So if bought 55% for US2.2 million and selling 50% for US14 million. Capital gains =US11.8 Million... Capital gains tax would be US1.475M max?

Does anyone here know what the purchase price of Cambay PSC was when first bought?

Reason I ask is posters here mentioned asking Director what tax will be payable on the US$13.5 MILLION still to be received. I feel the answer that was given from company was lacking ie 10-30%. If indeed this was their response. This would equate to anywhere between US$1.35M TO US$4.05M of tax.

However Research I have just done myself leads me to believe the tax payable would be considerably less... The 2024 Indian Budget gives a blanket Capital Gains Tax of 12.5% on profits made from sale of assets. If we say se bought for US10M and sold for US$14M. This would leave tax payable of just US$500,000.

Yes we should look to defeat Resolution 1 To delist.

Clearly not a good idea the share price was steady in range of 0.017p-0.023p range before they announced that and remained so at 7am-11am on first mention... Until our chairman's update at 11.15am ish which encouraged people to sell down to this pathetic level.. When the deal was announced 8th July 2025 we moved out of the above range UPWARDS to 0.035p, which would be a fair level on tranche 1 payment. We are now closer to tranche 1 payment but this time around with mention of delisting and our chairman's comment'S 11.15am we moved in opposite direction DOWNWARDS to the current pathetic level..... THE MARKET SPOKE DELISTING IS A BAD IDEA.

Yes but the company have actually delivered as much as they can is my view. I would say they have a leading position where diamonds are concerned in Finland a leading jurisdiction. So to sell is a bet that there will be no JV this quarter and no news re Lahtojoki permit.

To buy is a bet that this is a low and we get news on one of the two above.
