ATYM has no debt and sitting on stockpiled ore. That is ATYM weakness in that no debt, so bankers could structure a deal where ATYM funds the purchase of itself ... Classic reverse takeover. Would be a transformational deal for both companies.

Trafigura / Orion : do they have any interest in CAML ?

I guess a merger of equals possible . However ATYM is very tightly held : Trafigura 24%, Chinese 22%, Orion 20%, Liberty 10%, Management 5%. Would Trafigura / Chinese / Orion be willing to do a deal ?

What your views on chatter CAML looking at ATYM? Atalaya resources are 95% Spain (ball park) , has option in Slovakia gold interest and small stake in Kefi . ATYM is profitable, with copper / tonne costs at sub $2 Vs current spot $3. ATYM has no debt .

So it seams this piece of crap that was spun out for good reason should not be touched. The company have any other products due out ? Otherwise you are investing in a legal case . At 140p is this a good purchase level?

woke up this morning, read some negative shite from shortArse / Hex can't remember whichone, about Tom Winifred / SharePricks discussing crook CEO and cooked Telit books + insider : sitting on 30-40% profits depending on which of my 4 accounts , I just dumped the lot at roughly 172p ... so "worked on me" reference is that the negative talk got to me, enough is enough. what the hell is going on with this company. I will watch from sidelines ... see how this story unfolds ... may get back in, but too hot for me right now : cooked books + current CEO dumped stock before news. Also don't like GS involvement , they often mean bad news : options / shorting (they lend the stock out).

We have a very small float £40m in notional shares in circulation. Since FT article we have been likely flagged well to the institutions. Who has been buying ? Will be interesting if someone pops over 2%. If shares drop I would love to reinvest the small amount I sold (for TELIT and provident trades). GlA

In addition I would like him out of our company completely as brings nothing to the table. We have not only copper price , but likely good if reserve increase in life , size and quality. New finds. New project North Spain.

We are waiting for Astor solution . We have moved , +40-50% since 3-6 month trading. I do agree that should be higher given copper price. We will have to see some quarters with $3 copper in the numbers Vs our cost sub $2. But things in the right direction. My principle holding of 100 000 shares are being held tight. 3million in old terms. Have 3666 parked abroad . Kids own 4000 each. I sold small £10k to invest in TELIT , PROVIDENT corporate bonds and some reserves (sold TELIT today). Would have done better holding ATYM.
