Some of these posters have been here for a long time and how the information is presented is wrong. I am surprised as same individuals have been explained time and time again : BID - OFFER . BID - ASK. I payed the offer for stock. I was offered stock (by the seller) at. My stock was bid for (by the buyer) at. I hit the bid (sold). I lifted the offer bought). **** like I was "offered" x for my stock is just wrong ... its simple I was bid for my stock at. @fish ... it is precisely the layman who should be getting clear information or could mis understand.

Please , please get the language correct . Think we had this conversation over on ADFN : your broker BID you for stock at 238. They OFFERED you stock at 240p. BID - ASK spread . They did not "offer to buy your stock... you just don't say that.
