I was looking this morning at the picture again to gauge the drill pipe length again..I assume the width of the rack to be that of a lorry, just over 2m, I can safely assume those drill pipes measure what the common drill pipe length is, basically 27 to 30 feet, or about 9 meters.

Wow...my head is spinning now with all the science..hold on..maybe that was the Cabernet I had earlier?

So, let me see if I remember then..if the temperature increases with any gas the volume increases. But if the pressure increases the volume reduces. However, if temperature is reduced and the pressure is reduced the volume increases. Ok, so assuming we are next to a volcano, at least not too far away, are the depth rates for temperature the same as the caldera is closer? If so, I guess the pressure will be much higher and the volume smaller but all dependent on the seal capacity to hold all the gas under this pressure cooker? Where is my glass?

So, instead of retrieving all the drill pipes one by one (all the 400 m) just to run a wireline log and then put them back down the hole to continue the drill, we cracked on with the drill and to hopefully get our first discovery in record time.

AJ1409, as the CEO mentioned, the 70m RNS gas show at 2% rate was to confirm that the bar was lowered as to the required seal quality and that even at a poor mudstone seal at 70 m in the Rukwa region it retained gas, and that was very exciting to HE1.

Xerxes, if they had run a wireline log they would have to tells us I imagine, but as they decided not to, I doubt they need to tell us they are still drilling, right?

Flyseal, I agree with you and I as Skit highlighted after today's interview on proactive on the reason why they skipped the 400m wireline log? When the CEO said the the statement below, combined with the "maths of pipe counting" and what you said you can add two plus two:

"So we can get this hole Tai-1 pushed down to "discovery" in the most cost effective way"

I guess we are days away from the big news.

I don't know about you people think about it, but I think it feels really good as a message. The clue is in the details.

I think this way...HE1 (David, Lorna, Randy and the crew) reach the 400 metres and the spectrometer tells them the helium % rates. They decide to hit a home run at full speed instead of spending time running wireline logs.

I ask you guys here, should we have had anything to worry regarding the 400m do you think our CEO would be posing with Randy for a picture full of smiles? Absolutely not!!!! Otherwise any respect anyone ever had for him would go down the pan!

Sea, absolutely..David Minchin has a good track record as CEO prior to HE1 and he has not let us down. And after this interview I trust most of us are more confident with reg Tai.

From the interview I got the following:

- We hit 400m and we know the gas shows are at a much greater rate than at 70m.

-CEO is there to make key decisions on site to push this hole into a discovery in the most cost effective way.

-CEO/HE1 decided to crack on past 400 after cementing it to reach TD as he said wire logging can be done later

-At 400m we knew that under static pressure at a lower level there is much much higher volume of gas

-We know the Rukwa base produces He and the show at 70 has proved us that.

-Is the CEO optimistic? "You betcha"! "I wake up at 0600 with a spring in my step to reach the rig site"!

-2 weeks to TD

-"We knew Rukwa base produces gas...since the 70m we know it stores it...and now the bar has been lowered considerably of what makes an effective trap".

"We are either going to fly or he is the best con man". Deagle, I would not see our CEO as a "con man" should we not find HE in commercial amounts, actually. He has done a great job so far and seems really enthusiastic and genuine. Don't forget that he has a track record and I think we are lucky to have him as our CEO. He's a professional and I am sure he's doing his best. One thing he's not is to be a clairvoyant! ;0)

Asilad, what about if they actually hit way above, say, 7%, at 400m and it takes only a few days more to get to the payload? Say the news may be so transformational that investors will go into a frenzy...would you drip feed of news or wait to allow some big boys to move in at lower prices? I expect MMs to shake some bad apples..

Hold on..I am thinking now...that weird twit yesterday..and now this news ... no, no, I don't want to think of conspiracies...but that it must all have helped someone to buy in cheaper...well, I did at least. No no..I am just talking porkies here.

Obstando, I call a spade a spade, like it or not. I don't care what he does to his alleged money invested here, but I am not gullible to what people try to imply with what they say here. In one hand he "encourages" people buy saying he "bought more", and 20 minutes later he "bursts out" to everyone he sold! What does it tell you? It tells you that he's the kind that could happily take your money and run whilst looking in your face.

And, don't bring to me the "mental wellbeing" and "herd bullying" argument to try to appear politically correct here. Sash1991, Persiantrader has been investing here way below 15p and when he says he "lost £37,500" I can bet my clean underwear that that was profit he had made and not capital invested. Does anyone remember when he first post here? I know he was posting when a joined a while back and the price was around 11p. Keep an eye open always when you sleep I say, specially to posters who come here to tell others they sold and have the word "trader" on their BB names. Ha ha!!

AgentB, let me ask you a question. Knowing that any statement here may affect what some shareholders think, would you ever write here on a day like yesterday (or any day for that matter) telling holders that you have sold? That HE1 is "incompetent" and that you are out?

Persiantrader should not be investing in my view if his nerves and trading strategies are all over the place. Blow are his posts on wednesday and he sounded like a headless chicken to be honest..blowing hot and cold and hot again as the wind changed. I don't know what to think, really. Has he ever invested in stocks before? Gosh, drilling takes time and for anyone who has ever drilled a hole in their lives knows the drill bit will go at different speeds through different types of material (in this case rock formations) and so we need to wait and be patient. Sell or buy if you will, but try to keep your head as you do it, please.
Try to focus on the smile in David's face yesterday.

That is just a taste of things to come, my dears. We get a whiff of the gas at 400m and this will jet upwards like a rocket. There must be plenty of big pockets waiting on the sidelines waiting for confirmation. This will like a dream for many here and will make many of folks here pretty well off. WE just need the science to be correct and patience and guts from us. Nothing comes easy in life and we must go and get it. Patience is the name of the game..it is coming.

I swear I could see a smile in David's face as he walked away.

Mr. Minchin, if you are reading this, I would like to thank you for all your hard work and what is to me a genuine attitude towards your shareholders. Don't worry about the twats on Twitter who are having a go..muppets they are! Anyway, it was a great opportunity for the small guys to load a few more HE1 delivers us a successful drilling program.
