Not sure whether to sell shares from outside my ISA but have a feeling share price will recover back. Any thoughts?

I did exactly the same.Profit is profit. Not quite sure what i have earmarked it for but i thought being liquid would provide a buying opportunity elsewhere as stocks are tanking which was more than the potential 2.5% upside loss of selling sky at 1075. Obviously if this is a bigger upside due to hedge fund but no certainty!

Hope you are right. I regularly shop in Debenhams and am invested. Problem is i have been stung badly with Carillion. Usual big investors have knowledge that we are not privy too which unerlines their strategy. What we have to ask is the chance of Debs being a Carillion. Obviously vast underutilised rental space is an issue along with other financial liabilities.

Unless results are outstanding this may go south. Has volatile nature.

Jibbo. I think it is hard to know and illicit signs which are 'encouraging' that permit will be issued. Surely it is a binary thing-either it is issued and RNS announced or it isn't which is the present. Anything in the middle is very grey and subjective. Certainly not encouraging if you want to invest money in CNR.Sounds like they have got our balls in a vice with this issue and the SP reflects that.

I agree. For those that think this is a strong buy what do you think II are seeing that you aren't which make them not want to invest even though the share price is at rock bottom. I think MC needs to know what they are looking for to improve his selling skills. Switching to an alternative stock exchange doesn't sound like the answer to me. If I want to buy say APPLE shares I have access to NASDQ from blighty. Maybe a few more PI might know about CNR in canada as a result but doubt will make much of a difference to price on is own.

Not sure if to sell before next set of results as share price has had a good run and this is a very volatile stock!

Glad held the trigger for buying. Not sure what is a good entry point as stock going down. Sentiment and any change in fundamentals?

I currently use First Direct and iii to buy my shares. Don't think they count to be eligible for reinvestment offer. Who do i need to use as my broker to get this offer. Would i need to go with Santander themselves?

Good plan. Not working today so no excuse. Had i read Levi's post i would have taken off automatic sell and watched like you did. Good time to sell as going down again.

Sold at 522 as didn't adjust stop loss. Hoping to buy back in low 500s. Well played Goldenshares! Need to get better at entry point buying and selling.

Cheers Levis. I was being a bit thick. I didn't realize BNC was registered in Europe but can be bought on FTSE without stamp duty. Enter 518. 700 shares. Better late than never.

Thinking about getting into this share. Always buy shares on the FTSE. Am I better off from buying this share on another stock exchange? What are the advantages/disadvantages? Thanks
