And that is all very logic schlemiel. However, if a SP is NOT moving at all like this one then what is the point of them? The price you buy at is then per definition the price you saw when pressing the buy button and therefore your fair price, whether you like it (like our SP not moving) or not.

Suddenly no-one is mentioning the width of the mineralisation anymore, which stood at 150m in last communication.

This is from todays Newcrest report:
'Drilling at Havieron continues to expand and demonstrate the continuity of high grade mineralisation which extends over 450m, to vertical depths of 600m and remains open at depth and to the northwest.'

In my view the width will extend to that HAD023 area which is the 200m step-out, bringing it minimum to 350m.... and counting.

Listened to the proactive interview. GH is very clearly bullish about the new results. .

Some of his remarks:
HAD044 and HAD049 very good gold but ALSO very good copper grates.
HAD042 The 124m @ 3.9 g/t is great but more important he says is that the intercept is OUTSIDE where they thought the high grade zone was. Mark Nosill (?) of Newcrest said in a conf call that he thinks there may be a new high grade zone in the breccia.
HAD045 The 155m @ 0.6 g/t is nice to have. The real value GH states is that this intercept is OUTSIDE the area they thought where the breccia mineralised zone was. Therefore potentially significantly expanding the mineralised zone which in turn provides more options for bulk mining.

Not so sure about this but it maybe he is and for a reason.

If there is anything brewing in the background I would be very surprised if it is indeed a buyout. NC do not have to do this. They can simply keep drilling and get most of the company. They need the gold for Telfer, that is their goal.

If anything is happening in the background I think the likelihood of a JV on SW is much higher. THAT would make A LOT of sense for NC to secure that.
There are quite a few ways to skin that cat, even where there are no drill holes yet. The magnetics are magnificent and given the prospectivity of the area gives a very serious chance of a second Havieron.

So, if you believe GH is too quiet for your liking and think something is brewing, a JV on SW would be it in my view.

Schlemiel, I normally like your reasoning but comparing this to SXX on the buyout argument is complete and utter nonsense. SXX could not get finance and was on it's way to go under, therefore AAL bought it for a song. GGP is not going under and hold all the (gold) cards. Here we will have a say for sure. If only because more PI than II in this share now.

As per your infill drilling remark, I point back to what Chartbuster said a month or so ago that he had heard that they were fan drilling from existing pads. Maybe they have divided the drills up, infill fan-drilling and step-outs, as you did see some step outs on the latest satellite pics as well.

Of course Spy, you are comparing apples with pears. If the billion loses 100mln the change is 10%. If the 25k owner loses 10% he or she still has 22500 left... I think that is the right comparison.
I am sure that the billion holder will also hurt very, very much if his or her holding went from 1 bln to 200mln, similar to the 25k going to 5k.
