Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
"Traders are already moving away or have left".
Would be interesting to know the range of the length of time traders are willing to stick with a share before they head elsewhere. There is clearly going to be a wait before He1 / Lorna deliver an important rns - be it hours or months - and the negative posters here cannot influence this any more than the positive. But it is easy to know who will wait longer :)
...designed for numpties like leematt
Not to those who'd taken part in the sounding. Wasn't that the cause and start of the attack on the sp?
Last question Digittt, promise. When was this sounding?
So leaving aside the inevitably flawed concept of soundings, why was the placing price set so low at 2p when quite clearly those in the know would know that the price would fall even lower once the placing was announced? Is there any possible answer that doesn't reflect badly on Vlad and his financial advisors?
Thanks Ssccss. Before I plough through that, does it matter that Hemo is not AIM or am I looking at the wrong part?
From that:
Core Principle 1 – Market Integrity
Market Sounding Intermediaries will be required to ensure the confidentiality of and not trade on or use any non-public information passed or received during market soundings for their own or others’ benefit or financial advantage until the information ceases to be non-public".
Seems pretty clear from the sp collapse that such informed trading was exactly what happened after the clinical hold rns.
Failing to find anything in England about soundings but in Hong Kong they seem to be more concerned about the practise if this is of any interest:

Appreciate your insight Digittt, even more if you would answer those questions...
Subush - entitled to your opinion of course but that's one hell of an accusation - and one I personally can't go with.
Won't surprise anyone I didn't even know soundings existed until last few days. But I do now and have a much clearer picture of exactly how unfair they are on those not in the know and how inevitable the next period will be for the share, just as Digitt has clearly and very helpfully explained. So if I may, does a sounding always result in a placing amount that accords with the sound, or is it genuinely a testing of the waters? Who gets "sounded"? How can ordinary excluded investors find out a sounding has happened? And sorry for petulant naivete but in what world is this fair on those kept in the dark?
Thoughtful and reflective board today - much appreciated while licking wounds after the shocking placing. Disturbing too to have to realise that there must have been some dipping into this board who knew exactly what was going to happen but kept quiet because they - presumably rightly - felt it was in their interests for us cannon fodder to remain in the dark. This is not a criticism, it's a realisation that Reg was absolutely right - this is not a gentlemen's club - and we have to take complete responsibility for our own investment and have no right to expect others to let us benefit from their experience and knowledge - but we should be very grateful to those that do.
All that said, I'm not sure why Ssccss feels this need to sprinkle his undoudtedly wise - if somewhat patronising - words with unnecessarily snide attacks on the company and its amazing science which I somewhat doubt he has the knowledge to question: it almost feels as if his real agenda is to try to make sure the sp does not rise at this point.
We didn't agree, we thought.
MrI - think you need weekly sessions with Haywain, clearly better than therapy :)
At a loss to understand: you say you're going to have to sit it out and yet appear to think posting to run down the science and how the company is performing is going to help make things better! If you're really an lth in that position, would it not be better to concentrate the bright side - WE ARE NOW IN CLINICAL PHASE ONE AND WE HAVE THE MONEY FOR THE TRIALS - or if you are too upset to do that, just sit on your hands?
Really hoping so - proof?
Favourite quote:
"If they have the cash, that can allow the story to flourish; if the story is about cash, the story can't flourish. And now they have cash, the story can flourish."
Thanks due to rbr08 not me, Bline :) but quite agree, raised my spirits considerably yesterday.

Hemo from 15.30
An encouraging way to start the new month JHFH. Would be pleasing indeed if there were signs tomorrow that shorters are moving on.
Shocking rns this morning but funding is now in place so our phase 1 Hemo CAR-T clinical trial moves on with - hope these are right - our own lab / clean rooms and great links to patient-providers. May I ask the far more well-informed the likely timescales for: treatment starting with first patient / progress report on first patient / results of trial with first patient? And is it correct to be assuming that the first trial is the most significant or won't this result even be made public until a few more have taken place?
