I think it's fair to say no one has a clue what's going on behind closed doors. No idea whatsoever, yet we're talking threats of litigation and whatnot. Really?

That's the issue. I completely 'get' issuing equity rather than cash where possible (although you could argue it's a political move given the amount of times Rolf has said he wants to stop coming back to market) but it does give the MMs the slightest excuse to drop the price. We issue 8m new shares (<1%) and the price drops by nearly 10%...really?!
We must be making profit from oil by now and I'm expecting a tick up when post it. Interims not until September though and we know Gold is on hold and Eqtec is a year off, so just need to take a position and sit it out for now.
Not looking for divi or anything, just something to show we are now cash generative.

Thankfully those who actually run society (ie not those elected to do so) are all over the geopolitical situation.
While everyone else is stressing over face masks, the UK is sending a carrier group to navigate the South China Sea and show support for both the freedom of navigation and our allies in the region (should the Chinese decide to chance their arm).
They have a window of opportunity over the next 15-20 years, and they know it.

Not a good time for equities. A lot have jumped on the back of last years opportunities assuming it would continue. It never does, and reality eventually kicks back in. It has.
However, as a rule I find trading stressful and generally unrewarding. Investing and waiting is best, but only where you are still convinced it's all genuine. If not, then don't be scared of taking a loss before you lose the lot, which is not unknown.
Too many come to market chasing rainbows and expecting to realise their dreams in days and weeks rather than months and years.
Most people who brag about their investment success were in the right place at the right time, the rest learnt from their mistakes and stayed with it.

Judge, I've read your post several times, but don't understand it, particularly in the context of it's reference.
I don't TheGG was making any link between consolidation and investing other than to say pricing a share higher than a minimum free trade could/would take it above some people's investment level?
I know many struggle to understand why some would be trading at a £2 level, but we all have to start somewhere and what better way to learn trading than with real money, but at a level that won't break banks and hearts.

I would say the most overrated being Vietnamese?
The basic foreign cuisines we are used to in this country are top end dining in theirs.
