Unfortunately, i think Surrey is right. Doesn't really matter to me too much, as i'm going to be holding for a long time, or at least am planning to do so currently. It seems no matter how much progress we are making towards production at La India, flying gold prices comparative to where DB thought we would be, record profits and extension of 3 more land grants, the market just isn't responding. I'm sure global uncertainty and oil prices are also playing a huge factor, especially for many big investors laying low for the time being.

Is still just become a waiting game, unfortunately for much longer than anticipated

I'd hope that nobody ever thought it was completely risk free. It's stock afterall. Nobody knows weather a stock is going up, down, sideways or in circles, to quote a wise movie, the wolf of wallstreet ;). There no such thing as a risk free stock as we all know. I think we just like to talk it up for both investors visiting the page and mainly for our own psyche. People like surrey posting analylitical critcism which is evidence rather than blind speculation is useful. Battling about intelligence is pointless, as i'm sure we can unaminously agree warren buffet isn't the smartest man on earth, even if his stock record has been fantastic!

As said for the last couple of months, we're in a slump at the moment which hurts t look at for us all, but in my mind, i could not check my account for 6 months, and i believe without any major changes to the roadmap, be up (I'd certainly hope higher than the 12.9 we are at now!)

The best investors and companies in the world have an element of luck, but its what they do with that opportunity that determines how successful they are. I believe DB grasped the chance, and executed his plans well, drawing the company out of the huge hole it was in

Major. Recent performance has been lackluster unfortunately, and i'm sure you were better off due to your selling of MTL and reinvestment. On the other hand, what's to say that was calculated and not the majority lucky? I've made more on half my index funds than MTL recently. Again, in hindsight it's extremely easy to say it was or wasn't a good idea to sell or hold. We're all on a ridiculous ride at the moment, and absolutely no one can say what's going to happen (otherwise we'd all be very rich!) but at the end of the day, we all want everyone to make as much as possible, and if that ends up being in MTL in the future, we'll all be laughing.

Exactly. Especially in an industry of incalculable risk, it's so easy to find an issue somewhere and focus on that. Everyone on this forum has taken that risk, so unless actual known negatives are released in an RNS (such as near surface results on dupax), its all hearsay. The same goes for our predictions and estimations, which have recently been far too generous, myself included, but that's very easy to say in hindsight. It's just a waiting game

Think my mindset and position in life are likely very different from most on this board, so in a way EL you are probably right. Only difference is in this instance, i don't believe the odds are in the houses favour! But i'm young and stupid, and i'm sure that'll bit me at some point...

As you say Major, it's just up to each indivdual to weigh up how confident they are, or what they're willing to risk (in some cases, such as my own family) huge amounts. I believe we can't decide if it's poor judgement until a few years from now ;)

Just depends how you look at it I guess. All we really have in this position of months of waiting is positivity and speculation, or we'd all slowly go insane!

Literally impossible for anyone to predict, so we all are just guessing based on the limited information supplied.

We spend half our lives just chatting about MTL while he, and you guys, have taught me essentially everything i know ever since i was old enough to purchase stocks. Just happy to be here on the (allbeit very bumpy) ride to the top!

Moving the runruno equipment to La India? Acquision of a shovel ready mine? I'm intrigued. As i say i'm not overly knowledgable so i'm curious what you think could occur in this short time.

Of course this forum is supposed to be for conversation, and both sides of the spectrum are welcomed, and often times required so we don’t see everything through our rose tinted glasses as investors, but just seems a disproportionate amount of hate depending how each day goes.

Either way, as mentioned, I’m no where near as knowledgeable, or probably as intelligent as the vast majority of people here, but that shouldn’t mean I can’t post my opinion without somebody telling me to “leave the posting to my dad.” Just completely removes any aspect of actual productive debate and falls into childish argument, which benefits absolutely nobody.

Either way, myself and many others are eagerly awaiting the near future, and if all goes to plan we will be laughing at this bearish period as a blip in the past. Just need some patience (which is very much not my forte)

Well we were pretty stagnated at around 15-16p for a couple of months. We had a huge spike to around 19p which lasted a couple of days. Not sure its a fair statement to claim that was our baseline. It's frustrating for all having to deal with constant fluctuations which many feel aren't fair and so opinions will fall, but i, like many on here, keep looking at far too many negative comments with almost no change to our situation

Either way, I'd like to continue posting with my (allbeit very limited) knowledge and (very not limited) opinions.

Not sure i'm allowed to say... He is quite a frequent poster. Find someone with the most idiotic posts and you've probably nailed it!

This board is very flippant. We have two or three days red and people start getting terrified, like any major factors have changed. I've never actually posted anything, even though i've spent the last two years scanning these forums, so cheers for all the advice and knowlegde from all of you lol. My father is the reason i'm on here (he's an active member many of you know well) and i don't have anywhere near the holding some of you do, or even he does, but Lee is right (as usual). While it's frustrating that we are still significiantly lower than we should be, it's just a waiting game until La India is producing more gold than we can deal with!
