I intend to bring that same philosophy to BigDish and management fully expect that we will achieve break even in our first two territories within 2H 2019."

Personally i think its best to build the business in the best way otherwise it will be led around by every opinion on bulletin boards which is a recipe for disaster..this is I suppose the downside of being a PLC so early on...The CEO has got a track record...let him get on with it and prove to us he can repeat it again here...constantly whinning is pointless unless you want the price to go down....it's v obvious to many on this board that jsmith and ART only talk when price is falling...

ART says it "doesn't make sense me standing up for the management here"....really ?.I don't see what the management have done wrong here..CEO has just taken his position last month...what doesn't make sense is ART and Jsmith endlessly bashing the management on down days for the share price yet keeping quiet on up days unless they are derampers....I prefer the steady eddie approach of management for the 1st phase of rollout rather than a hurried crash and burn approach that ART and Jsmith seem to be encouraging...

It's been said time and time again March 1st is not a launch date it's not a film premiere it's just Southampton going live. it takes anything up to 2 weeks to actually sign up a restaurant from the time they said yes to the time they go live on the app. I'm not standing up for the management I'm just talking common sense lol

Art and co still don't understand the process of signing up and it's not a launch date at the beginning of March. Southampton went live at the beginning of the March.

It's a pity that you both don't contribute to the ADVFN message board because I think a lot of people would welcome your insights there..if you do then please use my thread "The fully moderated thread"

But don't forget Bournemouth was taking 10,000 bookings per diner per month...so at say average £1 per booking then that is £120,000 per annum from just one town...

Diners don't have to pay anything except the bill...no 50p per diner

Art is also misunderstanding the word ‘launch’ - it is not like a hollywood film premiere. Southampton is simply going live. My guess is there will be more than 2 by the end of the month :)

In addition to my point below, on Bournemouth, restaurants that were with Table Pouncer are still moving across to Bigdish so we haven't seen the full total yet...

You don't know how to analyse the app properly!!! There are 47 in Bournemouth...you need to click the A to Z...furthermore, and this has been addressed time and time again on this message board, Bath was an initial ‘beta’ area and testing ground. Each city is different. Sign ups are faster in Bristol and it is just next door. Bath will increase but will take longer. Tastecard has a small number in Bath also and half of those are big chains, not the independent...now don't then ask why aren't BigDish going after the chains then...I won't answer that again cuz I've done so many times..you need to read back through this message board properly

Dish will need to rns daily signed up 1 but not in app then following week now in the app - doesn’t make sense. it is quite normal for their to be a period between signing up a restaurant to onboarding a restaurant ie restaurant profile, photos, menu needed etc. when you sign a contract for a house do you move in same day? So probably the best way to assess progress is to look at the app and the listings in the A to Z section it may not be 100% accurate for the reasons are given above but it's probably the best way

CJSterling, u r correct....large chains come later. Not now. If they came on board now they would just swamp the app ...the chains already make offers in many cases...I like the DISH approach to build the app at the beginning on independents and small groups and then hit the large chains...rushing too quickly n signing up large chains would damage the look of the app ...let them get on with it in the way they know best...as I said earlier, if Bigdish was still private you would be none the wiser...I know some one who used to work at Tastecard and this is exactly how they started at the beginning i.e. independents first...

I suggest people relax and watch the journey. If you are comfortable buying now then good. If you prefer to wait for when there are 500 restaurants and a higher share price also great. If you prefer to just watch also fine - tech isn’t for everyone! In a way, the co were brave to list so early as an early stage growth company because the questions re no of sign ups etc must be annoying. There will always be people impatient with progress...whereas if they had listed with 1000 restaurants on board then it may be a different story...I think we all need to call down and let Sanj Naha get on with it at his pace...he knows more than us...
