ART, given the CEO's v successful track record at Bookatable and at TripAdvisor I think, to be fair, it's not wise for you to criticise him on the way he wants to deal with his staff and how they go about growing the business...just let him get on with it in his own proven way..

The point about the restaurants not being signed up and instead focusing on account management is what I mentioned over a month ago before you even joined this board...

Thanks Mark..that reconfirms my understanding too that T1 and T2 were instructed to stop recruiting and focus on account management temporarily to iron out one or two issues before national rollout..couple that with peak season and few restaurants wanting to offer discounts hence the drop off in restaurant numbers all makes sense..I bought another 158k shares this am..I love buying when its quiet and price is low..GLA

My understanding is board of directors are not paid a salary..RNS on 2nd july states "All members of the Board of Directors and some management have opted to receive no remuneration in cash since the IPO in August 2018. This is due to having confidence in the future of the Company and to ensure the interests of the Board and management are completely aligned with shareholders."
So it's wrong to imply directors are on salaries

Global slowdown could also be a positive for bigdish which gives opportunities for restaurants to fill vacant seats by offering discounts to the consumer who no doubt will be looking for bargains...in my view its a win win for the company..but, as Art rightly says, its now down to the company to execute their plan quickly..however, as i said yesterday, dont expect RNSs in future telling us what they plan to do with targets..always came back to bite them..the future RNSs are more likely to be telling us what they have done which i prefer
