Hi Ronald, I very much doubt it...they are more likely to RNS telling everyone xyz has been done rather than xyz will be done...I think they have learned their lessons about giving targets...anyhow, personally, I prefer getting an RNS telling me what has been achieved

What makes me laugh is that so many people seem to be expecting some news announcement on Monday Tuesday or Wednesday next week

Haha..AB take advice from Art...Art hasn't got a clue how to rub a yield management platform...he's been advising let restaurants decide on discounts of 10%..fact is The restaurants recognize that below 25% isn’t going to influence consumer behaviour which is what yield management is all about. Eatigo pitch restaurants and say ‘10% means dont come’..Tastecard have set the standard- 50% off or 2-4-1 only..and they have 6000 restaurants. Sorry guys, some of u need a reality check...at the end of the day, Sanj needs to deliver and nothing has happened to make me think he won't...some here like Art and Jsmith want to be spoon fed RNSs every week...crazy most of TMs are in place now so let them get on with it and I would suggest stop moaning..just my opinion on this board of free opinions

Apple, re restaurant not hearing of bigdish even though signed up, tbh I had same experience with discoeats 4 months ago when I called one of their signed up restaurants...I don't think all restaurants tell all their staff which is annoying but not unique to bigdish....bigdish can't force restaurants to tell all staff...same with discoeats too..I think it's easy to microanalyse things too much...let's just hope expansion starts from Sept onwards..I think should be easier to reach decision makers at restaurants in September compared to August when they will probably be away on hols or not so receptive when really busy..just my opinion

Well said JOHN077...I agree with your shared opinion....as I have said before I believe we will get fewer, if any, RNSs about their plans and targets as they are going to get shot down as they have been...I believe future RNSs will be about what HAS happened...personally I prefer this if this is the case...I believe podcasts will be fewer too as in spite of trying to be helpful with giving visions and targets they get nothing but abuse...much better not to give targets but surprise instead.

Not necessarily as big difference is bigdish are going nationwide whereas my understanding is discoeats focusing on just capital cities..I believe they keen on new York next...chains more likely to go for a national app, I would have thought...

Difficult to sign up restaurants in August as I would guess most of the decision makers are on holidays etc.

Applesauce, u know v well why they have not been signing restaurants during summer...it has been explained time and time again and 8 additional TMs have now joined with final 2 on 2nd Sept...Asia doesn t surprise me as they stopped promoting it a long time ago...I don't even think they are charging on the app there since they decided to focus attention on UK...anyhow, u believe what u want to believe...as you say we are all entitled to our views....i trust in CEO's track record and he was onlt up and running in feb officially...GLA

Thanks Trend...agree with you that it's a positive that RSI is now rising...imo it's a no brainer that shares will rise come Sept onwards now that nearly all TMs are in place and that training only takes 2 or 3 days at most so things should start to gather pace on the ground quickly..GLA..
