There has been misunderstanding in the BB about exact numbers of TMs. I have just had it clarified. They have 8 now plus 2 joining today (Brighton & London) plus another one in a few weeks. So total 10 today plus coming...I was also confused and need clarification

Ronald u don't know whether Discoeats had similar issues over the last year..the reason u don't know is because it is private, not a publicly quoted company. BigDish alas, being publicly quoted, is bound to receive criticism at this early stage in its rollout

Applesauce, that's exactly my view too...no one knows till they are on the ground..best got rid of quickly which is what Sanj has done.

I discovered on the internet that Bigdish are recruiting for a head of marketing which i do think is very important..maybe, ART you should apply. Joking aside, it would be a very important addition to the team
As the Head of Marketing they will:
Support Territory Managers with regional marketing activities
Co-ordinate the UK national marketing initiatives
Manage marketing budget and optimise across all channels and disciplines in line with business and campaign goals
Increase brand awareness to drive engagement and grow average revenue per restaurant per month
Design and manage all internal and external communications activities to ensure brand is consistently communicated across all customer touchpoints
Responsible for ensuring all content is on brand for press releases, social media campaigns and company announcements
Recommending new potential audiences and platforms with which to expand the social media presence
Designing strategies to optimise social media channel performance
Oversee the strategy for building of the BigDish community across social and drive traffic to the website and app
Management and coaching of Social Media Manager, and over time, growing the team to support the business strategy and growth targets.
As a member of the leadership team contribute to wider business strategy and team culture

Lazarus, of course, in the early stages of new TMs Sanj needs to keep an eye on them to see if they performing or not..if not performing for whatever reason then get rid of them quickly

Jsmith, I don't believe signing up with a POS co which has 1000 restaurants as clients automatically means bigdish has 1000 on its app. However, it certainly makes it easier to enable them when the restaurant owners are approached.

Thanks stix...despite ART's rudeness to me I do find his input to this bb useful and in many cases fair enough...My only criticism is that he is expecting too much too soon ..the company's wording of hypergrowth was inappropriate at this stage..I think they have learnt their lessons hence no more targets and fewer RNSs..update via Twitter where necessary..I'm happy to let the company develop at its own pace knowing that Sanj is behind the wheel, so to speak.
