Am I right in thinking that if the Chinese bid or not by the deadline, if someone else comes in at anytime. Before or after the deadline, the Chinese are then free to bid again ?

It was mentioned many times in the past, that whoever put the first bid in, would be at a disadvantage and probably not end up with the asset. Do people still believe this to be the case? If so why? If not. What has changed?

People mentioned before about there not being enongh time for new entrants to do their due diligence.

We have not heard from Dan in a while. They also said in the offer RNS that a further statement would be released in due course. It will be very interesting to hear what they say. Possibly something next week? It would give a big clue as to what they are thinking.
