Fortissimo
I think if you were on the Titanic as it was going down, you would see some huge upside to it.
Maybe not a bad quality to have lol.
Would not surprise me in the least, if the board argues all weekend about whether Warren is happy or not.
Personally I heard he was happy as Larry!

What are your views on the CFO going after only a few months ?
Chin up Sean, it's always darkest before dawn.
Something will happen when we least expect.
Thank you Bozi
Bozi
How do you see this playing out?
Slug
Did you ever play hide and seek as a child?
Bet you did not last long.
You can tell a lot about a company with how they dealt with covid. Some are now busier than ever and some are mentioning covid in everything they say.
On other words some have gotten on with it and recovered. Some use it as an excuse. Take your pick with solg.
They have gotten away with it for too long. This is just a continuation of the Mather era.
They fly around the world first class from conference to conference sprouting the same stuff time and time again.
Correct, how many times have you heard we have first mover advantage? A good management team who entered Ecuador 5 years after us, would now be 5 year ahead of us.
They live the champagne life style while at these cosy conferences.
And don't forget the large 6 figure salery to compliment. No wonder they are in no hurry to move this along with momentum.
I'm afraid to say Irvin and Co were right about solg all along.
I suggest everyone takes the opportunity to vote his year and get rid of the whole lot.
is this the potential multi tier ?
Not with a management team that would struggle to run a Wimpy bar
Is this the same board that moans anytime we go off topic?
Forgot all about the $4.5 m. I wonder who walked away with that? Not that the board would bother to keep us informed.
This is a life style company. Sack the board, get the thing sold.
Mather kicked out as CEO, ward resigned from the board. Ingo out. Cornerstone detest the board. Major shareholders unhappy. Irvin constantly critical. Lies about translations . Areas bigged up for years then they don't even announce assey results. The board toast at next AGM. Is there a pattern here?
This company started to lose its way the moment it changed strategy, and started to have ideas of grandure. Many years ago the idea was to find deposits and sell them to majors and more on the the next one .One morning many years ago Nick Mather woke up and said; I want to be the next Rio Tinto. Its been a slow train wreck ever since.
BHP if you are listening, please bid first thing; you can get the whole lot for 50p.
I agree. The problem is if you come on latish on a Sat evening there is no one here and no on topic to stick to, so you end up discussing what ever, with who ever is on. We have to many people who read the board but never contribute only to then complain we go off topic.
You guys are starting to open my eyes. I can only thank you.
The Western democratic capitalist countries were in cahoots with the Russians, Chinese etc etc in a world wide plot to invent covid and poison us with a vaccine and trash the global economy at the same time.
So they could take back our hard fought freedoms and create a kind of communist utopia.
Starting to make sense now!
I don't see what a third party would have to lose by putting in a counter bid if BHP went for it.
They would either get us cheap if BHP pulled out or make their rival pay much more.
Someone knows about this failed fund raise, we just need a grass there must be a few on the board
Did BHP have a stake in Noront at the time of the first bid?
I won't RK
Just did not apreciate your FFS post for my simple mistake. Unlike some I have about 27 stocks in my portfolio and solg is just a small part of that so I don't tend to spend every second of the day researching it.
