Please will someone explain how a drug that fails to beat a placebo in an official trial will sometime later (quite a long time later) beat the placebo if the dose is bumped up: e.g I take 1 asprin but it doesn't work so I take 5 and it does.

Thank you chaps. Very reassuring for us OldTimers: our 10+ years wait about to end within another fixed but indeterminant period and with the assurance of the CEO no less in an interview. I will be more attentive at the next RNS with further assurances that the CEO met another very important but unknown personage who assured him that he was interested in autoimmune diseases.

And correction on SNG for Justice: I believe 37p to 100p+ on "manic Monday" followed by lots of hype i.e interviews, then rise to 180p and fund raise at 175p to which many contributed at their dire cost; and broker forecasting £5ps which was the downfall for a further few PIs, before the RNS stating the trial had failed. Now less than 1.8p since failed fund raise at 2p.

So lost my punt at 34p. That's AIM but still only 99%down on IMM so looking forward to 4p tomorrow on news of the groundbreaking interview. ATB

138% up in a month - from pretty much silch to a bit more! 99% down since I got in on the news of a cure-all: news repeated occasionally over the years when CEO's lifestyle is under threat and the Sunseeker might have to go. Won't see another +% for next month I fear.....or the month after. News followed by no news: the secret to success on AIM and a tedious 10% for a trader.

Any good news was over 10 years ago when the "wonder drug" was unveiled. Revelation has been repeated every few years or so - it's like wars, long enough for a generation to have forgotten.
