I would say the fund will be out tomorrow and def below 2%

Fund have sold half of current drawdown, at this rate they will be out by cob tomorrow!
That is good news, onwards and upwards.

The fund have 1900,000,000 shares to move in 20 days (1 month) before the next drawdown. That's 20 million each and every working day for a month! And you guys still think the large trades are buys?? No wonder so many lose money, you're being fleeced by the MMS.

Been in and out of EUA myself, having first invested sub 1p. Time for playing the dips is now getting risky with news of the flanks 15M oz getting very close. Cant see 3p again but if we do then some more Amer money is going in there!

Evening all, just got in and read the news, very disappointing result. Thanks to all that voted no but when your fighting your own board and major investors we don't stand much chance. Like many long termers here I will miss the banter but we have to move on.

Regards my house refurbishment well we are in, it's not complete but it's liveable for a few days until after Xmas, then another couple of weeks hard work.

This is turning out to be a real cluster fcuk.
19.2p from one bidder, I dont believe it, but what to do?
Over 150 shareholders with circa 85Million shares are going to vote NO.
Thats what's to do, maybe a few others as well wont be happy and join us
in saying NO.

I see no other realistic view in airing our dissatisfaction along with cut
and paste Lucy's letter to the relevant take over authority/panel.

Now its down to each and everyone of us to get hold of their broker and insisit
they follow your instructions and vote NO

Afternoon all

Just spend some time going through all the emails and checking for errors etc.
Totals are not as good as I previously indicated due to double count prob by
myself whilst under the influence of Stella!

I have had some 145 pledges of support, giving a grand total of 75,000,000 shares
just under 6% I think!

I am not sure of the way forward from here, I was hoping by now the ‘NO’ decision would have been removed by a white night coming forward. We have had pledges of financial support if we take it legal but that could/would involve heavy costs on our part and the bod would fight it using company funds as is their right.
Also exactly what would we be challenging? So far all they have done is ‘recommended’ an offer, just because we disagree with that offer doesn’t make it illegal.
I see there are reports of unrest and curfew’s in Colombia as well, not good for inviting top dollar bids at the moment!

75Million is still a good chunk of support but is it enough to stop a sale?

Any Institutions out there that have similar views?

The Emails continue to pour in.

Unfortunately my time is spent elswhere at the moment, (house refurb)
but I will endeavour to spend some time this weekend with numbers updates
and relies where required. Rest assured all your support is appreciated
by us all. I think at the end of day its going to be down to everyone of
us to get in touch with their broker and ensure that the votes are polled as
required, yes or no to the offer.

A quick calculation tonight suggests we have surpassed the 100M mark by
some margin. As I said I will confirm over the weekend

A terrific respose from everyone who are dissatisfied withthis situation.
This could not come at a worse time for me as I have just bought another house
and am in the middle of a full renovation job.

I have done a rough calculation this evening and we are just under 100k pledged. I might add that several people have pledged on BB's and I would prefer an email confirmation, so I ask if you have pledged your support please confirm with a quick Email to Moneylender@gmx.com all I want is nubmers to make life easy. lol

Where do we go from here is the next question, anyone know a corporate lawyer that can help or press contacts and even institution contacts.

I have not had time to reed the Seekingalpha article yet although a quick scan
looks like we are worth double the offer!!
