If we discount FXPO (high risk right now) and ITV (basket case) we're left with 4 builders, fags and facility management.

Seeing as you know the builders well, I'll trust what you say about them.

Share price not a concern for me as will be holding for 15-20 years minimum.

ALL builders aim to make 25-30% profit on a house. Be they a small independent firm building 1 or 2 houses a year or Persimmon.

With the average UK house at GBP 271,000 that puts Persimmon at 24% profit per sale.

Would you rather they made less?

279p paid out Oct '21 - June '22 so over 10% trailing 12 month dividend.
