The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
After being free to hold for years (I think it's £9.95 to trade) I noticed this on the site today:
"Customer Admin Fee Reminder
Our customer administration fee of £36 is due to be taken in April. Please ensure you have the money available in your Share Dealing Account, ShareBuilder or ISA. If we're unable to use available money within one of your share dealing accounts then the fee will be taken from your nominated bank account or debit card."
Mark, Please check your private messages! Your old mate, Jamie
1.19 coming soon.
Ooh, it's a while since we saw 1 GBP buying > 1.18 EUR.
Hello all. I'm glad to hear that Mark is up and about. (I have had a weird ankle problem of late) I wonder how long the appreciation of GBP vs EUR can last. I've almost negotiated my next contract, in GBP... :o)

I must say, 4870 for FTSE looks pretty cheap. Not as cheap as the merchandise being looted in London though!
Yeah, point taken about pips adding up. I just like the hero trade - for example, jump in on DAX at 6700 when everyone else is screaming and ride it up past 7000. We don't have long to get in while the elastic is at full stretch but it sure has a catapult effect that puts your trade in safe territory, profit-wise and after that its all stress-free gravy. Of course, chances like that are rare and this could just be a d/c bounce (hate that expression and it makes little sense really) but having dry powder and calling March right could have been awesome.
Your scalping of bits and bobs is fine but who thinks that the markets have had their adjustment and can now move up? I am tempted to load up but have some fears...
I am trying to work out if that flash crash created or filled a gap. One has to look back quite far! It was pretty exciting, I had to blink when it dropped. It's surprising that trade is so thin. Break the crust and it is almost in free-fall.
Oh, without a doubt. The fundamentals are in the bin but since when does that matter?!
It would be nice if Plays or TiE would make an appearance. They're good guys in a crisis.
DAX at 6844?!
You'll know in a few days if Dax<7000 is an opportunity!
One would think that we just saw the double bottom on S&P. If not, 1262 looks like next support.
touched the 50 week MA (according to IG figs)
I dont think the DAX has been that cheap since March
There's gotta be vomit on a few keyboards out there!
S&P is back on the brink of going to the 1250 zone...
200 point range on the DAX today and we're not even done yet!
