Just thought i'd copy this post on opti bb by me this evening for this bb's consideration

Whilst Stephen, over recent years, has done his best to negotiate deals on selling sbtx shares to minimise the impact on sbtx sp - I'm not in this post passing comment on the actual selling of our investment - the recent movement in sbtx and in particular today says more about the management over there rather than opti realising periodically their investment

which of course the potential of same was known by all investors in sbtx (including me) at time of listing

we are going to be paying for this one for some time to come - never mind the gloss put on the further payment due and performance targets - doesn't really matter re synergies if you overpay

And btw we should have had more up to date figures since Aug 23 before completing the deal

Hardly 12 months since Aug 23 and Net assets of £558k - we have no indication of the Directors' salaries paid in previous years nor in the period to Aug 23 - i would guess substantially reduced in period - another question perhaps

because the period figures are out of kilter with the net asset total since at least 2017 (131k) and profits per year since

even at £558k as noted in rns and without further explanation £1.68m way over the top imo

In addition to the overpriced acquistion - they will no doubt have their rationale - i await with interest their comments and justification - i"m struggling to find any re price to be paid

For the financial year ended 31 January 2023, Dermatonics reported unaudited revenues of £1.82 million and an adjusted EBITDA of £230k adjusting for one off items (£150k stock write off and £123k bad debt). Financial year to date revenues and profits reflect upward momentum with higher revenue and improved margins. As at 31 August 2023, Dermatonics had total assets of £558k.

The acquisition of Dermatonics is expected to be immediately financially accretive through additional revenues and profits.

Well net assets fell by 103K year to January 2023 as noted in listing above! Adjusting for items noted gives a loss of 43k (ie 230 less 150 less 123) leaving a difference of still 60k

In my opinion £1.68m upfront is well overpaying for this company nevermind a further potential £1.25 m - the previous owners must have had a great xmas!

Does anyone have any probiotic recommendations ? I have been trialing Alicia's Naturals and my psoriasis is starting to clear. I want to try some others.

I've been taking "Axisbiotix PS" for well over a year and it really works for me. I took a break a while ago and my flare ups came right back so its definitely working. I think a lot depends on your diet and lifestyle but I'm happy to say that this product in particular works well for me. The company has lots of trustpilot 5 star reviews and even Jess Wright takes it!
