I would think one of the questions that investors of Solgold who post on this bulletin board should ask themselves
Why would any current major mining company allow Solgold to be a “major in the making?”
The answer is they will not, and hence once the PFS is published for Alpala and hopefully with an open pit option from within the Cascabel concession thrown in, this will become the starting point for any M&A
Any further good development on our other concessions will add additional value, post PFS is the starting gun, which should have been last year, and this delay seems to have played into Solgold hand with the rising cost of Copper
Porvenir will take the larger part of the funds based on the noted drilling
"SolGold intends to invest c.US$50 million into its highly attractive regional exploration portfolio between April 2021 and June 2022 and international exploration and corporate overheads. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Placing to:
· Fund a minimum of 40,000 meters of diamond core drilling across key priority Regional exploration targets including:
o Up to c.20,000 meters at the recently discovered Porvenir project, targeting a maiden resource estimate during 2021
o up to c.17,000 meters at Rio Amarillo
o up to c.7,000 meters at Sharug
o up to c.7,000 meters at El Cisne
o up to c.5,000 meters at Blanca Nieves
o The amount of drilling conducted at each of these targets will be adapted as drilling is undertaken to reflect the success of the drilling programme;"

"BHP cannot do anything with their holding"
How do you know that quady?,do you work for BHP ?in my opinion they have three choices, hold, sell or buy more
"Now here is the Elephant in the room.
Why would any major holder of Solgold shares sell below their value.
They wouldn't."
How do you know that Quady ? they like any other shareholder "may" sell if the price is right, or if they make a profit on their holdings
"People on here seem to think a one pound offer would be successful.
Ask yourself this.
Why would NCM or anyone else sell to BHP for one pound a share"
Newcrest would make a very tidy sum, A quick calculation, I make it that Newcrest hold approx. 282M shares for approx. £57.5M, and hence have an average of 20.3p, would that not give them nearly a five bagger ?
"After all would BHP sell to NCM for one pound a share. Of course not."
How do you know that quady ?
Quady was you Mister Know all at school ?
