GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
Did anyone spot the ****up in todays RNS, as the RNS was related to Porvenir
"Commenting on the commencement of drilling at La Hueca"
Simple mistakes like this are laughable, lots of copy and paste, so we might get an RNS tomorrow wrt La Hueca :)
I think Solgold have published the gold price they will uplift to for the PFS, it is hidden in todays RNS
"Copper Equivalent is currently calculated (assuming 100% recovery of copper and gold) using a Gold
Conversion Factor of 0.751 (CuEq = Cu + Au x 0.751), calculated from a current nominal copper price of
US$3.30/lb and a gold price of US$1700/oz."
Might be of some interest while the paint is drying :)
Key topics that we'll be looking at include:
- What are Smart Cities?
- Where are the copper related opportunities for the implementation of Smart City infrastructure?
- The role of copper in the future evolution of Smart Cities.
- Copper tonnage future demand analysis.

Looking at it from a different PoV, if the price is being held back as someone wants to put a low offer in, as we currently have funding to take Cascabel to BFS, all NM will do is say sorry not at that price, come back with an offer that reflects the value of Cascabel and here are some drill results from the regionals to consider
And if we can get news on potential funding of $2.7b, then the offer would have to be a good one, NM did use the work “billionS” in the last webinar, is that 2,3,4 or 5 Billion ?

I would imagine any shares tendered by current CGP holders, would have SOLG shares issued on the TSX, have a look at how many solg shares are traded on the TSX each day, then see if the management of cornerstone are correct ?
just a thought
I can not see NM taking 45p a share, that would be seen as a failure by almost all investors of solgold, BHP have already paid that amount two years ago, anything above 80p would be seen as OK, but when we are all talking "fare value" then we are looking at prices above £1 per share
This was posted on ADVFN by mknight, yesterday afternoon, not sure if she/he posts on here
"Have a reply from Eliza La Hueca ..progressing slowly . Porvenir.. not started yet but have rigs So more than one being prepared BLANCA ... decided not to drill at presant and will concentrate on the other 2 sites for the moment . Hope that helps clear up the uncertainty"
Not a lot of progress to shout about :(
Here you go DB

I would assume the phrase "we can paddle our own boat" means we can take it to production ourselves, it's very obvious to me NM will accept an offer for Solgold, if it's fare value, otherwise we go to production, it's not difficult to see that is it ?
Fare value or we go to production, simples :)
No more, no less, the question is what is fare value? answers on a postcard in October :)
If you look at the picture in the pdf version of the RNS, it shows the rig being used

Phat, i agree with your comments, solgold will carry on, and when taken over will be known as "Solgold - A BHP Company" everything will be left intact and will operate at arms length to BHP, there would be some changes at the top level, but at the "copper/gold/Silver face" will carry on. maintaining the current status quo with the Ecuadorian government and it's people
I think you may reconsider the Yacht :(

This hints at Newcrest may well be OK for the next decade without doing much M&A
"Lihir and Cadia dwarf the majority of other operating mines worldwide, which means that Newcrest will not likely have to do much M&A over the next decade to maintain or grow its production profile"
