The sad fact is if/when the CEO is replaced he'll leave with a huge payout, yet more reward for failure, seems to be the way with all poorly performing CEO's in the UK.

Initial drop of 10p, no matter what numbers BT produces the market kicks it, end of the day down 5p

Does anyone else find it strange that there's no date associated with the initial dividend payment

I did hear the (was sad enough to scroll through the program on radio catch-up), it was on the morning breakfast show, but the guy they interviewed was from the company responsible for constructing the windfarm rather the UKW, Duncan Clark from Orsted

Which program were they on?

Seems the BT share price is once again drifting down with no obvious reason why. Nearly every day the price drops, albeit slightly, no matter what the market does. Struggling to understand why, yes BT has challenges but so do many other companies but few seem to be on the downward spiral that BT is stuck in.
Here's hoping the next set of numbers perk the price up again, though I guess we can look forward to more announcements from VM/O2 the day before the results are published.

The sad thing is there will be no winners in this, the staff will lose pay and pension contributions, BT will give a littlemore, the unions will claim victory, customers will suffer with a reduced level of service and the share price will drop. The additional pay the staff gain probably won't make up for the pay they've lost for a number of years, struggling to see how this is in anyone's benefit, a sad day for all involved.

According to Proactive Investors:-
The Communication Workers Union (CWU), which represents more than 40,000 staff at the former state telecoms company, will announce the result of the ballot of its members just after 4pm on Thursday.

I managed 39 years in telecoms and hope to be enjoying life in the 2030's, as I'm sure do most of my and probably Fleccy's age.

Yes, Q4 results due 12th May, hopefully some strong numbers and an update on the Discovery JV.

As per usual the market is doing it's own thing, market up, BT down, no idea why, given up trying to understand why the BT share price moves as it does. As others have said would of thought BT has a limited exposure to the current situation in Ukraine.

No dividends for shareholders, bet the board get paid their bonuses

The previous channels that have been ceased stopped being broadcast on the dates shown on the BT website (see previous link), just seems strange that it's not been the case this time.

Not sure if we should read anything into this but Discovery's channels were due to cease on BT TV on the 17th January, they're still there this morning, perhaps an imminent deal with Discovery, or more likely someones forgotten to turn them off!!

Even out friend at UBS has a higher sell price than that, seems DB is either out of touch or as suggested has it's own agenda.
