The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Could you add some colour to your post? Trading update in Sept and the Investor vid in Oct all looked pretty promising to me - decent growth, debt free? Where are the red flags i seem to be missing? 2m seems far too cheap for this business.
If the drop is about Corbyn's plan to nationalise wifi - thats ridiculous for many reasons and if anything else presents a nice buy point / entry.
I've dipped my toe in but might add more to this unless someone points out something i've clearly missed?
This is looking very cheap. Watched that recent video of Andy at the investors event. Looks alright to me. Why all the hatred? What am I missing? Looks like a company hoovering up the SME market as the big players struggle, growth looks healthy. Why is it only 2m?
Anyone done some back of the fag packet calcs to value this? Any indication on margin for the GT revenues? At quick glance current MCAP seems to assume ~9m rev for full year on a 25% margin at a PE of 10 and ignoring all cash, other parts of the business. PE10 extremely conservative given growth from last year...
You'd think with all the money leaving Bids some would wend its way into here.
Can someone show me how the 90m subscribers figure is derived? Thanks
Latest cartoon, brick by brick we are getting there. Foundations are set with a remarkable team at the helm to deliver the Graphene Revolution . Ignore the impatient and misguided, ignore the detractors with their PE calculators and lies misguiding.

game so aligned to shareholder interests but also won Mello CEO of the Year. Rejecting the original China deal shows impressive resilience and determination to drive VRS fwd
Moat – The barrier to entry for verification is extremely high, hence why only Versarien is approved thus far. The IP alone is hugely valuable.
NGA – Versarien is a National Graphene Association council member and corporate partner to advise the US on commercialisation of Graphene. Collaborations in the US racking up with huge corporations
Opportunities – Versarien has an enormous number of collaborations, LOIs, MOUs and agreements with a growing list of major corporations and institutions around the world. Eg Aecom, CT Engineering, Fortune 100 Chem supplier, Tunghsu, major global airline to name but a few.
Potential – Mind blowing blue sky potential. Graphene can literally enhance almost every industry and the diversities of the collaborations to date show VRS are looking to capitalise on as much of this potential as possible
Quelling – The CEO uses his open and transparent approach to quell falsehoods, rumour and detraction giving me more confidence in my investment as lies are quelled openly and quickly dismissed.
Responsible – Versarien can help the world become a better place using graphene to cure diseases, make fresh water available, reduce emissions through solar and EV, reduce plastics etc
Strategy – Versarien not looking for a quick win but rather focused on executing a global plan to take full advantage of the Graphene Revolution and, in many ways, drive it
Twitter – You can follow the latest story on twitter and take part in some of the games and competitions put on by Neill, usually for charitable reasons but at the same time takes his shareholders on the journey
Universities – Business and academic partnerships with the top Universities in the world (UoM, UoC etc) to capitalise on research and development, IP, and the government funding pumped in
Valleys – Key countries will soon be building graphene valleys to supply the inevitable demand. As member of the key councils and recognised leader, Versarien perfectly positioned to capitalise
Worlds First – Versarien is the first and, currently, only verified producer of graphene in the world by the Graphene Council. The vast majority of graphene being produced on the market is either low quality or graphite.
X multiples – When Versarien progress their strategy and become the number one producer and consultancy for all things graphene and the collaborations begin to turn to deals the Share Price will be many x what it is today.
Yacht – My dream, in many years to come, is travel the world by yacht. I’ll achieve this by either top slicing when this share rises 10,000% or live on the eventual dividends
Zap – The future of the automotive industry is EV. The revolution is dependent on fast charging and greater range which graphene can enable. Versarien with Gnanomat (which it owns) is plugged into WMG, Nation
Hello fellow investors. Having tried to explain the magnificent VRS story to friends and family I realised its bloody difficult to get your head round. I have therefore developed an easy to read AtoZ to help people grasp the opportunity here and make a more informed decision on investing in Versarien and the future. I hope some find this useful, its by no means definitive and I welcome any additional colour, clarification or other reasons to invest in VRS.
More attractive version on twitter, follow me, like, retweet, spread the word (post it on other boards too). Next cartoon is also coming soon :-)
VERSARIEN – an A to Z
Assets – In addition to the Offices, Labs and Plants Versarien also takes advantage of a wealth of assets at GEIC, NGI, Universities etc.
Brand – Versarien are developing a set of brands with Nanene, Polygrene, Hexotene etc which will become a symbol of quality. Intel Inside is a good comparison
China – The Chinese market is enormous particularly for manufacturing and construction. The BIGT term sheet will give unprecedented access to this market and act as a beacon for Chinese demand. MOUs with Chinese Aerospace companies and Tunghsu already in place
Difficult – The sheer size of the opportunity and complicated nature of the underlying tech makes this a difficult investment to grasp. This depresses the share price artificially whilst investors take time to comprehend the magnitude. Great for topping up and entry.
Excitement - Most stocks your waiting for the drill results, or the final results to check the latest annual growth in revenue. This stock could hit you with an RNS about literally anything. From Aerospace to football boots, to solar panels, to skyscrapers. Endless joy
Financials – Cash in the bank, spend very carefully managed and absolutely no reason to raise to keep the lights on. A raise will always be to significantly enhance the business for growth eg Acquisition of Gnanomat, BIGT Term sheet
Government – The UKGov via DIT are in full support of Versarien including an unprecedented move to provide secondees. The UKGov recognise importance of this tech for the future of jobs and the British economy and backing Versarien indicating the scale
Honesty – Neill and the team are the most open and honest management team I have ever come across on AIM. A complete breath of fresh air. Regularly meet shareholders.
Involvement – I want to be involved in the 2d Material Revolution with a front seat and which an investment in Versarien delivers
Japan – Japan and others such as India, Canada, Europe are all interested in what this tiny UK company is up to demonstrating a growing global presence
Korea – Versarien is making great progress in Korea which has significant number of graphene patents filed with their Gov and Academia in full support. Korea is a huge exporter and 11th largest economy in world so shouldn’t be underestimated. Samsung, LG etc.
Leadership – Not only does the CEO have significant skin in the g
Bored? Again I must be missing something. All I see is a very healthy flow of positive newsflow in past 3 months. Probably due another one soon too...
26th April - significant upgrade to Italian resource
11th March - new licence in Benin
25th Feb - Colter update (mixed bag but limited exposure)
21st Feb -- upgrades to Jamaica
7th Feb - update on Selva

What am I missing here?
- very decent replacement CEO
- making profit
- cashed up
- excellent product/service and client list
Is this all due to the CFO selling few and the exCEO dumping her holding? If so then this will def be on the rise again. Maybe not this week but if LTH then it really doesn’t matter.
Monthly check of the bottom draw. I see nothing has changed, I’m just a bit poorer. Not one of my better investments. Too underwater to sell so see you in a month. Hopefully they pull their fingers out of each other’s arses and get something going. Hold
"This will certainly go back below today's placing price" Wishful thinking...
People don't like buying into big raises but over a relatively short period of time the big rise gets forgotten and the people will see how fundamentally undervalued this is. Exciting couple of weeks.
Just checking in on my bottom drawer shares. Anything going on here or shall I close the draw for another 6 months?
Only bought this for a punt due to the ridiculously low mcap but after watching this interview today I like the sound of it a lot more. hTTps://youtu.be/60SBybdDWds
Surely oversold and worth a small punt with a 500k mcap?
