Ha! I wasn't expecting anyone to do that Alfa. Let's hope he doesn't need his arse wiping this morning.
Just a wild guess Miagi, but you mind find something interesting on the Largo website. Would you like someone to find a link for you?
That was interesting Jimbo. A very clear hint that IES is lining up strategic partnership, and given that they have vanadium supply organised and the money to build the battery production facilities, it is very tempting to believe the suggestion that the partnership will be with a solar (or wind) project developer.
But I do wonder in which direction the target is moving. I suspect it's the direction of reducing BMN's holding, as is their stated intention.
Yes indeed. The holding in Enerox has not been revealed as some aspects of it are a moving target (or words to that effect).
Fortune adds that the consortium of investors involved are from Canada (which we knew) and Asia (which we didn't). Perhaps the Cellcube 10% went to the Asians?
There is that but we also have 990Mt of Iron Ore at Mokopane don't forget. I expect the share price will adjust to reflect this...:)
That's interesting. So the "original consortium" was BMN and Garnet with 24.9%, with EHL taking 65.1 to make 90% of Enerox GmbH. And we Cellcube subsequently sold their 10%, but no to whom.
I posted this last week
"Alfa was on the case of the right Peterson, R Dean Peterson to be exact. Formerly the owner of Cribb Construction Ltd in Calgary, a company which changed name to Garnet Commerce Ltd in 2018 and now the 50% owner of EHL. I found it on the Alberta business registry as they do things by province.
The internet also reveals that he bought $1.6m worth of Largo shares in 2016, was looking to buy 20 tonnes of V2O5 in 2018 and attended a chinaferroalloys online conference, probably the vanadium one in July. It makes me wonder if he's a BMN shareholder, but that's just conjecture. He certainly seems to be a shrewd investor who got hold of half of Enerox at just the right time."
It was Canadian (Alberta) and is the former name of Dean Peterson's company, the one that now owns 50% of Enerox Holdings Ltd
Totally agree Alfa. It should appreciate in value significantly over the next year or so, to the point that they can more than get their money back. They won't strictly have control with less than a 50% holding, but they have supply agreements in place with two major battery players.
No connection between the two Pat. Petersen is in company in the US. Peterson is a person in Canada.
Bubby
Half of Enerox has already been sold to a Canadian called Dean Peterson, and BEL owns the other half. Whether he is/was behind YD we don't know though. In any case, you could be right about YD, but I suspect that if they did want in, they'd have done it by now. The next news on ownership will probably will be of a reduction in BEL's share, but they might want to wait for the order book to grow a bit before doing that.
Funny you should say that m'lord. There don't appear to have been ANY today so far.
Good news today, not only about a significant contract in a new sector, but also the SAP integration, which I think is a very smart move.
That makes a lot more sense Steve!
Thanks Paul. Credit due to Alfa Watson for translating 'RD Pet' into 'Dean Peterson' though!

Alfa
It could be Petersen. I've emailed you the document, see what you think.
Good work Bobby!
Some more interesting facts about Enerox Holdings Ltd from the Guernsey registry:
23/3/20 Memorandum of Incorporation shows BEL with 50% of shares and Garnet Commerce Ltd of Calgary Alberta with 50%. Canada's business registry has no record of this company. One signature looks like Mikhail's, the other looks like R.D. Pet (?)
24/3/20 EHL registered in Guernsey
3/4/20 Stefan Schauss (then Cellcube CEO) registed as director. Guernsey records show no other directors.
14/4/20 Stefan Schauss removed as a director.
Also note this from the RNS of 3/8/20: "BEL intends to own a minority interest in EHL, in line with its strategy of holding minority positions in select VRFB OEMs and being a catalyst to mobilise third party financing and assist the scale up VRFB OEMs."
Interesting SG. I like the last para the best:
"Ten years from now, the competition will be renewables which are going to be far cheaper with much better storage technology than we have today," said Prof Ramana."
