lejjb-Even if your order is under the normal market size they don't have to honour the bid/ask prices.
Unfortunately online the brokers are under no obligation to conform to the 'official' spread, it depends on which market makers they poll for your quote. It's just one big fiddle.
Bradis-Ha maybe if this turns out ok otherwise I may have to make do with a refurbed Nokia 3310.
Yeah small screens and deteriorating eyesight doesn't help either unfortunately.
Why-I wouldn't trust this lot to sell my car for me, if form is anything to go by they'll see themselves alright and won't give two shiny ones about the shareholders. Oh and if you think nomads and regulators (lol) care one jot about the rules them you seriously need to wise up.
Cheers bradis, I'm using a tablet too for a change (instead of my laptop) and am all fingers and thumbs at the moment trying to get used to it!
Why-I noticed that after I posted and cursed I'd spelt it wrong (sorry bradis) but for you to pick up on that rather than my actual point shows just how petty and weak your case must be.
I sincerely hope so Scott for all our sakes but with the shower running this caper it's not exactly my expectation.
I'm sorry Braddis but I heard enough about 'sheep' and 'weak holders' when we were at 2p+.
Who's laughing now?
Most traders won't have said anything let alone lie and deceive, our very own BOD have done enough of that to destroy the sp.
It's the traders who have made the money here, holding has been disastrous so far.
If there is an offer tabled on Tuesday I feel it will be a poor one for long/medium term holders,I think the lights out RNS on Monday was to set us up for this as it was obvious that the sp would crash and many would capitulate. However I'm not sure it was meant to happen exactly like this? I do tend to think we would have been left to stew (and probably drift for a few more weeks with no news) but those pesky shareholders started interfering and found themselves in the loop.
In the original situation new holders would have been thrilled to bits with their 3/4 bags or whatever while long/med holders would have been just relieved (after THAT rns to get some or most of their money back.
Now the cat is out the bag though regarding permits I think the BOD would need to get a deal done quickly before the sp gains any more traction, potential bidders come back to the table or (as NEW_2 says) perish the thought any of the permits turn up. Hence the apparent hurriedly called conference call for early next week.
I hope I'm wrong and that we get a great deal one way or another but with the present BOD running this caper I'm not exactly confident they'll put our interests ahead of theirs.
Oh well, as they say time will tell. GLA
Absolutely Nathan, it's bad enough selling at a loss on a large drop but then to see it then tear off back above from where it even started would be even more galling. Hopefully many will have got back in and potentially recovered some of their losses.
Bertie-I distrust CH even less after this week's shenanigans, it's disgraceful that so many will have been shaken out.I feel as though shareholders intervention this week is resented by the BOD and that it's put a spanner in the works of their actual plan which appears to be to run this company into the ground for some reason. As far as I'm concerned it's a company ran by spivs for the benefit of spivs.
For me I feel our trainer had thrown the towel in on Monday.
I'll still take some convincing that he hasn't.
I'm sure CH will pour weed killer on it at the first available opportunity.
Wilfred-Because it's the traders who make the money here.
'Investors' just get screwed.
To be fair most holders have let them get on with it and this BOD have run the share price into the ground.
Yes it does Able which is exactly why they do it, this discourages buying which in turn encourages selling and usually then results in a drop of the share price. This has been going on in pretty much every Aim share I've been watching for months and is simply another tool that the MM's have available in their box of tricks. Shouldn't be allowed IMHO.
