Mr Optrade. My sense is that you’re a decent chap. Balanced and not a ramper ...so I respect your view, tho fundamentally disagree.
I actually don’t think the CEO is a fake, nor a “villain”. Opportunist...yes. He has family no doubt that care for him and everyone deserves a go at making a decent living. But I do think that he and DB (a rele of some description) sat down with the DB Playbook and probably set out with great intentions of taking the market by storm (again), being massively successful (err... that didn’t work so well first time) and returning squillions to their faithful if gullible small shareholders. And with their whizzy PowerPoint business plan etc somehow managed to get the market to fund their adventure (again).
No real financial commitment themselves. And then a year later ...come back for more, p*ss it up a wall and then a year later.... yesterday...another go! Mr Diamond and Kenny100 and others will remember the exact same play when COMS was riding it high at 10P (after a massive contract win RNS) followed by the 6p placing. It never recovered. Just more bull****
And just why is that DB isn’t sticking around for all the “jam tomorrow”...?? Allowed to get out when the timing was just in time to save his wife’s horses me thinks.
I now only put my money (any significant money anyway) behind stocks that the CEO has a significant vested interest. It hasn’t let me down in recent years....and `I urge the uninitiated to think on.
I still can’t believe that contract win didn’t give even the slightest hint of a (mahoosive) cash call in the offing to calm the froth... a blatant ramp in my view to get the bail out placing away and pay their salaries and golf days (targeted marketing 😂🤪) for another year . They were even paid out of it . You say “if they control costs”... where has all the cash gone to date ?? What’s going to change ?
Some who do not become greedy, maybe even your good self, will undoubtedly make some cash here on the spikes (once the 1/2 billion or so shares are dumped....eventually) but most will sadly loose. Personally, imho, I find one makes a whole lot more on steady (but not not necessarily without risk) shares, financially backed by their Boards...and you’ll sleep a lot more peacefully.
Just my humble opinionated opinion.
Respectfully,
Miss G
