More likely to be the problems of time and cost - with swampies fighting every inch of the way it could take years to get new seismic and the costs onshore UK aren't cheap. Same as at HH - a 3D was necessary but could you shoot it between Gatwick and the built up area to the east?

Its not a court where the Jury go out and decide immediately after the case. The Inspector has to go away, review all the points made by everyone in accordance with the law and then come to a decision. It rarely takes less than 3 months and it often takes over 6 months
