face it - there is one large field onshore Uk and a couple of decent small ones - they were all found 20 -40 years ago.

Your being a bit hard on Lucan - I'm sure he DID know but he thought he was going to be able to raise the cash quite easily - and I'm sure he was told the same by the people he hired to get the financing.

Those of us who have suffered for years on AIM have learned to read small oiler RNS's very very carefully

the only news we'll get from Turkey is htat tehy've started the new seismic - then it has to be completed, processed and interpreted.

then they have to decide where to side track to - if it's bad they may have to drill a completely new well. I can't ever remember a farm-in well where they stopped and had to shoot new data because the initial interpretation was so wrong.........

Those who have been invested here for years expect that Turkey will quietly expire (like Broadfrod Bridge or the Kimm) and some mad new scheme is floated to distract attention - Alaska? Mongolia?? Mars????
