Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Negotiations obviously still going on with various parties and big Jim’s blunt conditioning message around his “fair” expectations I guess will either oil the conclusion of a satisfactory settlement or send some suitors packing. My average is 47 pence and fully loaded with CNR and I still have reasonable confidence in making some money - but who knows when!? This has to be a great share to take a punt on at current levels.
After over ten years of this Premium Bonds look pretty attractive!
This board has suddenly lurched into short termism.
Yes disappointment around lack of RNS announcements and potential delays but I don’t think most long term holders think that they a backing a dud here!
I have just bought some more.
Elon Musk might notice this - maybe he might consider dipping into his petty cash to buy SEE and underpin his Tesla share price!?
A slightly less boring day today
As a long term investor patience has had to become part of my DNA.
I believe in the potential of Condor and it’s management and ownership but will not do so forever!
MC has given us assurances about the imminent BFS and we will now see how this might catch the attention of those who matter - institutional investors, potential acquirers and indeed even a toll miner. Not to mention our group of simple private investors.
The next few months must provide a little more clarity - the leadership team at Condor must now deliver.
Thanks condor forever - a good spot and MC continues to work hard on getting some attention out there in the investment community.
Once more MC stated that “all land” bought - it’s probably a non-issue anyway but nevertheless let’s bury that subject once and for all.
Almost an hour of webcast but my takeouts would be;
Great time to buy undervalued gold as pumped up tech shares start to be overstretched on valuations. Inflationary climate is good for gold. So great time to buy undervalued gold resources.
Mark Child blasé about potential opportunity and just said his time 99% focused on operations - that looks a little iffy if you look at the amount of time he has recently appeared on investor relations.
Clearly up for sale sign - Mark focusing now on doing all of the right things to make us a company that will will tick all of the boxes in a due diligence process.
Big resource companies have big pockets and good balance sheets and will need to acquire further resources when shareholder politics force them to do so - will not be at the bottom of the market but that’s pretty good for shareholders like us as they feel compelled to buy on a rising gold market. Mid-cap goldies may end up being the movers and shakers for us.
As an aside copper mentioned many times as one to watch.
Only my take on the webcast but very though provoking!
28p and spike 33p
The most positive and upbeat presentation delivery that I have seen from MC. Operational advancement clearly laid out with the work of the last year and the imminent FS. We will have to wait to see what might come to pass with any toll mining and the small land swap to move the co-operative miners off the land - but I see no reason not to keep the faith for another 12 months ( after 10 years of being invested!).
In the meantime while Condor plough on with their mine build plans there could be news anytime of serious suitors who want to get their hands on a well advanced 5 - 10 m oz gold district.
Surely the simple highlights of this document will now start to catch the attention of more institutional investors?!
It look like the broker has been caught asleep at the wheel
Is the damage in the picture because of an earth tremor or because a lorry driven by a tired driver collided into the building?
Wise words realranger. I am a fellow long suffering shareholder who has kept the faith and continued to accumulate to average down. Also slightly in the red but confident ( and having to be very patient! ) that my time will come for the share to hit your 3 x plus - and certainty within 5 years! I am comfortable still holding because the key combination of proven assets, Mike Child’s financing and leadership expertise and the major shareholder called Jim Mellon will keep the bird flying until they (and us) make a lot of money. Time will tell if these are wise words.
I am another long termer and similarly at these levels have little return for 10 years of investment. I believe another good 2 years until they will produce. However, they are now substantially derisked and they will re-rate before then - possibly a lot earlier if serious bids start to appear to buy the company.
Moved up 10% today on what are really quite small trades. So is now the time that the institutional investors will stop sitting on the sidelines? Condor now poised to move from explorer to producer.
I know this room is all about OMI but I am in this share and Condor. Big big RNS this morning
It’s getting interesting now - Condor has explicitly stated what it will do with the money raised. They would now dare not follow through after making these commitments. Jim Mellon doesn’t have too many doubts about the locked in value here
Thanks Frenchie for your slide comparison comments. Any change in language between the two versions referring to toll mining? In general I get the feeling of slow, deliberate progress being made by Condor albeit I am not sure to what and when!
We must be now approaching the very time at which Institutional Investors start to chase CNR shares. Many will have had us in their radar for sometime waiting for the right time to buy in - and we certainly will have now caught the attention of others with yesterday’s RNS and financial press coverage.
Thank you Campbells and Isapension. I will know if it is a lucky number some time next year - hopefully early next year!
