The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
While these “I’m out good luck. Bye” posts are always pointless, I do agree - this company faces one hell of a struggle if JB loses the vote.
Agree Jimmy. But wow - you don’t half get your knickers in a twist over rampers/derampers!
It’s not unique to this share.
Thanks for sharing, Goaty.
JB tweeted not so long ago when asked about the vote 'The plan was not to lose'. I see it as very important that he wins.
In terms of polling, i'm curious as to what votes he is able to secure....
No TR1's to suggest that his friends have been buying up his 60%
That said, I can't believe the PI's have bought all 60%. Realistically what proportion of shares do we think the PI's hold? A large chunk of these won't vote.
Where will MIC vote? They must have backed the BoD last time, but surely they have to align with JB now.
Figgy, Steve(1973) or anyone else more informed than me... have you some idea as to the breakdown of shareholders and where they are likely to vote?
You’ve made your point Uncle Bryn.
Let people form their own opinions.
Fig, agree BODs don’t control the MM’s
I was making reference to the BoD and their RNS releases that have been designed to stifle the sp.
It is all the more reason to vote in favour of JB proposals.
Of all the bad days we have had, today has been the most worrying.
Why are BoD desperate to keep this so low?
We were blue on both Weds and Thurs last week.
Short memory.
This is a useful link that should explain what to do for HSBC

Twisty, I hope you don't mind me copying your 'how to' guide. But it's very helpful.
There's been a lot of trash on here tonight, but this is important...
If you wish to vote as a PI you will be voting by proxy via your broker and will need to register your intentions one week in advance of the AGM/GM so the deadline for this is NO LATER THAN TUESDAY 22nd SEPTEMBER.
The preferences that I set out below are to advance James Benamor’s agenda (which is my personal preference) to not re-elect Roger Lovering and Nayan Kisnadwala at the AGM and to pass all Richmond Group proposals (JB back in charge) at the subsequent General Meeting. Many of us differ in our opinions about this, so alter your preferences accordingly, the process will be the same. You can read the AGM resolutions here: www. amigoplc. com (Notice of AGM on 29/9/20 PDF). You can read the General Meeting resolutions by looking at Amigo Live RNS stream on the LSE site and reading the RNS from the 11th September. Make up your own minds, but you might as well vote if you are in this. You might also want to wait until Monday to see if the BOD has a positive play after all now that JB is out.

Your shareholdings over the ex-date

When are the voting deadlines for both general meetings, Figgy?
In theory yes. We just need this toxic BoD to stop stifling the share price by releasing these horrendous RNS’s
It won’t finish over 13 today. But I’m hopeful we’ll be in the 14’s by the end of the week.
It’s like choosing between two blokes to sleep with your wife.
I was on the fence, but the RNS on Friday has just about convinced be to back JB.
I’ve got reasons to consider that you don’t have any reasons other that stupidity
RNS killed it for today and took the sting out of the momentum. Next week will be smoother. A week without any sound bites from Nayan Kisnadwala will be a good one.
Is it me or is this final 0.66% the most painful?
Same old same old. I held off voting on this. More petulance. I’ll be voting for JB
So BoD confirmed on Monday within their petty RNS that they will make a response to RG requisition on the 11th (tomorrow).
The past few RNS postings have been underwhelming and would have offered very little in the way of support for BoD. I have held off in submitting my AGM votes until I see what they have to say. Now surely has to be the time to unleash their ace...JB has all but sold off. The timing of messages is key here and the clock is ticking.
So what realistically will tomorrows briefing offer;
Simple acceptance/rejection of EGM demands
Something substantial in the way of direction of travel (no. complaints refined, target date to recommence lending prudently, takeover talks etc.)
Or...more childish jabs to belittle JBs proactive proposal?
tik tok tik tok
There is no doubt he reads this board!
There was a petty RNS on Monday that referenced this;
Amigo will be posting its Notice of General Meeting as requisitioned by RGL on or before Friday 11th September, which will include a recommendation to shareholders to VOTE AGAINST all resolutions proposed by RGL.
I believe the RNS is due tomorrow?
