The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Exactly my thought process. Why would anyone, regardless of them being a pi or ii, in their right mind vote for BOD?
If investors have bothered to vote then this should surely be a formality.
Normally he has something to say after an RNS from the board.
Sources close to MTR suggest he is working from home today.
I know it’s not a lot, but that’s all I’ve got!
Uncle Bryn, there’s no way that you are much fun on a night out.
You’re like a wet weekend.
Bullish, HKK....I like it!
Plenty of time for a Nayan resignation RNS you mean, Tim? ;-)
I was worried we we see another Nayan written RNS today to dampen the mood.
“The current board are committed to turn the corner and continue to recommend investors to vote against Richmond Groups Proposals”
Thank goodness that didn’t happen!
Tempting, Figgy. There will be ample room in the plant pot, alongside the basketball!
I can't get out of my mind the screenshot of the sms conversation held between JB and GC.
"You and I always tended to agree on the fundamentals. You know what I have to do. Keep watching...."
Was this what Glen was referring to?
I live a 5 minute walk fro Amigo offices in Bournemouth. I'm tempted to treat Mrs MTR to a nice meal in the Brewhouse Pub next door. Ulterior motives of course...would love to have a word with some staff/Nayan! Mrs Ramp doesn't know how lucky she is!
He's stopped.
The Beatles have also parted.
So you are saying the ii’s will want to vote for something that leaves the share price at zero?
Crawford bought about 6mil shares at roughly 31p.
He’s not going to dump at 11-12p
Don’t forget to vote!
Seriously though, can anyone now justify voting in favour of BOD?
We’re watching
I haven’t missed these posts in the last few days.
Speculative nonsense
I’m glad you mention the mystery of where 4.7 million shares went each day for 61 days.
I’m as miffed as you. But I suspect we might find out on Tuesday
PeoplePower - Do you see this as a growth stock?
It’s spam. Just ignore him. He’s clogging up most BB’s
I hope we don't see an RNS - they have all been a disaster for the SP.
The fact that the board haven't felt necessary to produce an RNS that might woo shareholders, worryingly suggests to me that they might be confident of the win.
Putting you in the spot Figgy;
If you were a bookmaker what odds would you have on JB to win the vote?
