A while ago, Ocelot pulled me up because £25m of the £125m (think it's nearly £130m and counting) was spunked before he arrived.

I’m amazed that long term shareholders and those lured into the hype surrounding the 0.3p placings aren’t incandescent that the only news they’ve had from the company in four months is the P&A of Broadford Bridge and a photo opportunity with the ex-teacher/charity worker who is now our hydrogen czar.

Whence is Sanderson going to derive some income, or is that a really, really stupid question?

The submission was last expected “mid February” but it’s not on the agenda for the planning meeting on 25th February.

When Mike Buck arrived we had 333m shares in issue and the SP hovering around 7p = £23m mcap.

Today we have 1.84bn shares in issue and an SP of 1.2p = er, £22m mcap which is disappointing on the face of it.

However, the prospects are quite bright on a number of fronts IF we come out of the starting blocks early in springtime; last year’s start in July was farcical and it was no surprise that we didn’t get to Gobi. I tend to agree with Master that we should see a work programme and judge on its achievement.

I’m pleased we have finally collected the long outstanding withholding in full but not impressed that a 2026 agreement isn’t complete after last year’s debacle.

After all, Mike Buck has had nine year’s experience of how things tick in Mongolia…

Two months ago we were told “Only the matter of tax on processing fees remains to be resolved and this is relatively minor”, so continuing to withhold the full 30% amount for over a year is absolutely outrageous.

What value does the MOU have if business cannot be conducted in a fair manner between us and PC?

The draft Energy and Power System Master Plan 2025 (EPSMP 2025) on January 7, envisages that the country’s primary fuel imports will fall below 50 percent, based on the assumption that Bangladesh will produce around 24 million tonnes of domestic coal in 2050.

Hopefully, a very long wait will shortly be over for patient shareholders, and the country as a whole.
