well, i have done a bit more sleuthing and came across a truly dreadful website for a wolfson capital llc at wolsonmn dot com which beats sunstepppe’s own into a ****ed hat for vagueness and paucity of information.

sunsteppe board member zulu luvsandorj spent 10 years with sumitomo mitsubishi bank europe up to 2019. in her latter years there she was also md/partner of a wolfson capital llc before working as a project finance advisor within uk gov ipa until the end of last year. she is now an advisor to the deputy pm of mongolia.

evidently a very clever and capable lady and great to have onside.

a bit of a shame about both websites though…

WOS - my understanding is that we own 50% of Sunsteppe. What can you tell us about the other 50% owner please? Try as I might, I can’t find anything about them on the net, or the projects they’ve already done.

That was a massively confident statement from Mike Buck after yesteryears’ serial disappointments.

Thanks for the pointers. Given the glacial pace things happen in Mongolia, I’m a bit sceptical about any short term benefit to Matd and its lowly SP.

Monetisation of the stored production must be close (albeit, one assumes, at a lower price) and better weather should mean more of it.

Quietly confident of a good year here (finally).
