Think 103p was bottom, fleetingly. Bought at 106p, maybe not enough. Que sera.

I realise this is an aerospace (not exclusively) bb, so a restriction to travel has got to be bad news.

On a recent trip to Portugal I was tested before leaving the airport, confined to my room until results, which arrived before breakfast. The hotel management had set aside an isolation room in case of a positive test.

On return to UK, nothing but an online trace form. For 6 months we have been taking thousands of plane loads of untested travellers, and then express surprise that the infection is out of control. If only the heavy cost of furlough had been applied to testing tracing and (yes) quarantine, we would now have an economy in better shape, and fewer dead: it's a government of clowns.

Clearly those buying are those wishing to increase the extent of ri they can take. Those selling are opting for a smaller loss than the aftermath of ri will produce. This has been rigged (imo) so anyone holding but not taking ri shares will be the worst off of all. Junk is in the eye of the beholder, not valid here imo.

BA? You sure? They'll offload it in Gander or LAX, and airdrop some Arctic rations.

Don't really know enough about shorting to advise: but on item 2, while a lot share your view it will fall before 23rd, imo this is not certain.

Salesale, the amount of dosh involved here, you should pay for the time of a tax expert. Not saying Autonomy isn't one. My possible losses here are not life-changing, but....

I will be taking the ri shares, but my situation is 1) long term 2)confident in the business 3)funded: realise these might not apply to you, and may be misjudgement, up to you.

I would thank and commend the other "advisors" for their thoughtful balanced and courteous contributions; other BBs not a thousand miles away would be quite different, AIM mostly......

Ahh, now I follow. Yes, if you don't have further funds, or don't wish to commit to this, their proposal might be OK for you, imo, better than ignoring. Personally I am I the happy position (??? Hahaha) of being able to fund my rights to cheap shares without selling. Some on here will opine throwing good money after bad, read them all, everyone make his/her own decisions. Nico, I've been in bloe from aug19 in my taxable account: perhaps earlier in isa but I sold to invest in another prospect, which seems to have deleted the trading record. Not big-time here, but you've got to diversify, and I have l-t confidence.

However lots bought today, evidenced by afternoon rise. Some will sell, but many will hold to avoid making a paper loss cash, and some through confidence in the inherent value of the company, its designs and products. Some will buy in, to get the right to 32p shares. For example I bought @ 106p for that reason: if its cheaper next week I got it wrong, don't sign up if you can't take a joke.

As I said we can't know, I don't pretend to and nor should you.

ExRR, are you sure you have read it accurately? I don't think there's a need to sell first, and if you don't hold on the appropriate date (23 Oct?) you do t have a right to 10for3 32p shares. Doesn't sound right to me.

If you follow MrB you crystallise your paper loss, up to you. If you sell some as In..eep suggests you may release funds to exercise rights and emerge with max shares. I would not suggest doing nothing.

But the opposite if you don't actually own them?

Some will be buying to increase their rights. Some lacking the readies to exercise rights might be selling at a much better price than November.

Sure, but someone suggested IIs could ONLY get ri shares on the basis of current holding like us.
