Haha, no I’m certainly not missing any of that Banbury.
Anyhow, I will continue to hold as I have a lot of faith in RDH, the turnaround strategy and the rebranding plan is underway and could hopefully propel them to new highs over the next few years.
Still very early days and a long long way to go but I reckon they are on the right lines.
All the best
Market clearly doesn’t like SAGA does it.
I thought the results read as well as we could of expected. They look dirt cheap here but maybe I’m missing something?!
My word this is a frustrating share
No worries value-wise, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
It takes bulls and bears to make a market and that is what makes it all compelling eh!
All the best :)
No worries Value-wise, thanks for the comment ??
Tend to agree Alnwick!
I made my money mostly in Asos in the early days…buying heavily under a quid a share. Was a rollercoaster ride but all the wild emotional swings paid off in an extreme way in the end.
Saga definitely won’t multibag to that level but a 3-4 X from here is v possible if they can execute.
Its in their hands now and they must execute to plan which is never guaranteed of course but I do believe if anyone can pull it off it’s RDH. He’s an incredibly impressive businessman.
All the best
Will surprise everyone to the upside over the next few years in my opinion!
You just have to have a strong stomach and balls of steel to see it through to it's full potential. Many won't and will only get partly rewarded.
I know this because this share tests my patience like no other... the daily swings in £monetary terms are gut wrenching if you pay attention so I'm finding it's better not to take any notice and just stick with it over the long term until it's true long term value starts playing out. That value imo is £12+ but could take many years to pay out.
Good luck all
Hi Batfasted, indeed you are correct and it is the 22nd :)
Stockopedia was showing the 9th for some reason but has since been updated.
Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing well :)
Looking forward to the SAGA update on the 9th. Should make interesting reading.
My stance here is still the same and I am expecting a serious re-rating at some point... no idea when but imo we're significantly undervalued here being priced at a multiple of just over 6 x 22/23 earnings which providing nothing goes wrong they could beat by a good margin.
I still read this board every now and again and there's some really good points made by the likes of Banbury etc
All the best
In SAGA land isn't it! I only look every couple of weeks now and very little has happened.
See u all in a couple years maybe !
All the best
About bloody time too!!
Hopefully a excellent few years ahead for SAGA and a return to solid profitability now the shackles have been lifted!
Fingers crossed that starts reflecting in the SP and we can finally break free from going round in circles and from these ridiculously depressed price levels. The Insurance business alone is worth far more than the current market cap imo.
A full return to normality may be a lot closer than we all think.
Bring it on!!
Sorry? I bought the bulk of mine last year @ sub £2 you daft bugger. Situation has changed a lot since then though so have been adding in the £2,3 & 4 range as still think that represents cracking value for multibagger gains.
Nothing of what I am doing should matter a pip to you though Slow. Focus on yourself , makes life much easier :)
I thought that but from what I can tell it's definitely not.
is contemplating taking the company private at the moment! £5/6 a share would be an absolute steal....
I would be gutted if that did happen though as think it will be worth at least double that in the next 2-3 years.
Anyhow, I'm Just contemplating and hope everyone is doing OK in these tough markets! Stay calm and zoom out on the charts ... I find that helps to put things into perspective :)
Someone's buying BIG at these levels!
This is getting silly now haha! 460p to 310p in under 4 weeks is madness! Market cap is laughable...
Don't like using specific profit numbers but lets just say I was up 15o% on SAGA but now I am not! Profit erosion is a real thing if you are not a trader ..
Long term view remains unchanged though... and still v confident we'll do well here over the next few years! Just going to take longer than I initially thought.
All the best
Looks seriously cheap now with the sheep yet again being scared by the now extremely boring subject of Covid 19.
We’ll get there in the end and my view remains unchanged. I like SAGA even more at this price and have bought another 12,000 shares today. Risk/reward looks superb in my opinion looking a couple of years down the line.
DYOR and good luck all :)
Who knows. As we are all too well aware the SAGA share price surprises us to the up & downside. It's like a manic depressive haha
I just think it looks superb value at these levels vs future earnings prospects hence why I've bought more. I've got no idea if the SP will go to 300p or back to 460p over the coming weeks and frankly given up trying to understand why it's so volatile.
Good luck all
I agree Gordon.
I saw a 222k buy go through at 360p on my level 2.
Interesting times indeed.
and bought some more taking it slightly above my threshold limit rule for an individual stock.
A £1 per share reduction since late June makes absolutely zero sense in my opinion and I have zero interest in where this is day to day. I'm here for the big multi year moves only.
All the best
Haha! down 22% since 24th June.
Very odd... arh well, nothing so strange as the stock market and in particular this stock.
Patience and the art of doing nothing will hopefully be rewarded in time here.
All the best
