More trouble.....sub 350 but am still staying away. Made a good return off HSBC since March & don't want to throw it away on a daft punt....good luck all

Traded this a few times now; in @c372 & out around £4.
But not bought back in even when dropped to 'usual' support @370 as think a new lower low is possible.
350 is my target; but even then i consider HSBC one of my riskier punts.
5 trading day's leading up to results on 3rd Aug; ....will watch & wait i think

Similar situation with my BT; long with 16000+ holding. Results due next Friday. But not too worried about those. Am hoping will trade up to 'usual' 120p (now 112) for a nice £2k cap gain.....

Does anyone here watch/hold IAG (British Airways)? I see they have now dropped sub £2; any comments?

He said, which surprised me, that most equiptment only has a working life of 7 to 10 years anyway before needing replacement

My point was really that any companies results really are the final word & all what we say here is 'tested' on that.
I do not hold a position here now, having sold out, & don't see me buying back in unless sub 350.
To me the risk/reward has passed the tipping point.
But the best of luck to all those who have bought back in or are long term holders....

Results due on 3 August. First meaningfull since Covid pandemic.
I will be very interesting to hear if your dire warnings of doom will be reflected in these results HK.

Good results with the share price storming past £4 & HK is just another deramper to be completly ignored.....

My break even is 109.55 so it's £164 a penny (hopefully upwards....lol)

Am holding off for a while here, i think; don't want to see my previous profits wasted on rashness.
408 on Monday was a lower high than the previous 428. So a lower low is more than likely to me.
Also, it's not just how low it goes in terms of a number. I want to see it drop but stabilise for a little while; week or so.
Then jump on & hope for a ride up to 390/400 new high. Target £1k cap gain.
Am into BT with a little more than i really wanted, following it down with buys from 113 to 108; so capital tied in there for now. Tho i see a rise to the 120 mark on the cards, at which point i will be out.
Am also interested in RDSB, now sub £12, & may go there instead of HSBC as is maybe a safer bet....
