The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
These companies are or working to the separation of Black Mass.. Also within the next 2 yrs American Battery Technology Company will not only be mining the biggest Lithium mine in the USA they will also be recycling all used batteries in one of the 8 plants that are planned around the USA and have a process for the black mass.
The biggest company is BASF.. Others are
Umicore
Retriev Technologies
American Manganese
Battery Recycling Made Easy
Li-Cycle Corp
Neometals
Raw Materials Company Inc
Recupyl
Glencore
So i sold this morning.. will keep on the watch list.. Having got into bed with 1 spiral company and nearing the end of the sell-off process they then have to jump right into bed with a similar debt provider. This is too much for me especially without the technicals of the warrents. This new company is also known as a death spiral borrower and I now find the risk elevated to dangerous levels. we are 50/50 hence the no opinion option as my son has decided to hold is 500k shares which are 5% green.. Brave.. rewards are high if his pun is right.. If this new finance provider starts selling shares on the open market as previously then the pressure will be downwards. Another thing that always nagged me is why TM1 when the same peeps already had Recyclus.. Reclus safe steady footing.. TM1 holding all the bad elements separating the risk with the investors paying the price which is where I feel we are at at the min given the sorts of debt having to be taken on.. 13% interest £500k interest up front then warrants on top.. Isn't 13% upfront enough ffs..
You go on and on with the negative.. BUT let me you into a little secret.. This is high-risk growth stock.. This stock could go belly up hence high risk lol.. this stock could fly on profitability.. we are at a juncture where any scenario is possible. I have a smallholding of 500k shares as does my son so 1 million in total. Now I don't need you to tell me every day as a trader that I MIGHT lose my monies.. I KNO.. hence it is HIGH RISK lol To me it is worth the risk in this little UK start-ip.. I have never ever in 5 yrs trading ever followed a stock I'm not involved in lol.. people just don't have time for that.. so peeps like you must have an ulterior motive.. Anyway look forward to your next post giving me a friendly warning about possible losses on this high-risk investment.
this is only conjecture (this is still a high-risk growth stock)
so is this the guy of charles ofori of clg responsible for all those 1 million block sells of #tm1 shares over the past few months on the hope tm1 would not be able to repay the loan so forward sold around 100 million shares & now having to scramble to buy back in a buyers market creating a short squeeze. ouch https://clgcap.com/

The black trades these last 2 days & last week were all buys as all the transactions were close to the ASK rather than the BID.. We have had a nice steady pullback from the last high of 1.5 pennies so nice consolidation with the sub penny buyers taking profit. If we get the slightest bit of good news should take us to the 2 penny land.. This has been a good steady move.. Not expecting too much with regard to earnings for the quarter ending Dec but looking good for next reporting period.
This is why there will be consolidation/ Due to government grants and laws regarding having domestically sourced minerals mixed with recycled the companies that can recycle using the cheapest methods will swallow up the competition especially when they want to expand abroad. so if a company uses heat as many do to recycle they have no hope long term due to the cost plus a lot of the material/minerals get burned up in the process and then there is acid-based extraction and again it is the company that can do this using the less abrasive method of extraction that will have the most longevity. There is a reason that ABAT won a $2m grant out of over 100 companies that entered there was no 2nd place. Imo TM1 will be swallowed up eventually by one of the bigger growth companies that can recycle the black mass and I have to wonder if that is the end game here.
America has the right idea to encourage investment & growth within its own borders.. tax breaks of around $7k per car for cars that use domestically sourced minerals within the batteries and a % has to be recycled.. sure I read that is the same for the EU regarding recycled elements. Also, ABAT can break down the black mass into individual elements. Hence my post earlier with regard to tie-ups / buyouts. Due to government legislation which enforces recycling black mass will become black gold once the sector is established within the next 5 yrs. Especially when we meet the tipping point from combustion to EV. There is a reason that the USA gov has ploughed BILLIONs of grant (free) monies into the sector.. We here in the UK waste £130 BILLION on a stupid train line that less than 10% of the population will use lol.. Digress... Perspective of the HS2 waste. Rolls Royce can produce mini reactors at a cost of £3 billion each. So the monies the government has wasted on the HS2 could have brought 35 of the reactors making the UK self-sufficient for domestic electricity production.
ABAT @american Battery Tech is partnered with BASF. ABAT is doing the same as TM1 over in Nevada USA both recycling & mining. When consolidation kicks in once the growth finishes both here & the UK there is going to be some great buy-outs/tie-ups in the recycling sector just as there was with the telecoms consolidation that happened very quickly going from 12 regional companies down to just 1 .. Virgin Media ended up with the lot.. Diamond Cable Telewest NTL to name a few. In the next 5 to 10 yrs the black mass recycling projects will go the same way.
£1.. thought i was being optimistic @ 50 pennies lol.. Don't forget this is UK market not NASDAQ lol.. £1 would be nice but would one hold out until that unless evidence came into play.. Long way from that I would have thought with all the investment needed for the planned expansion around the country..
I've been in this since the beginning.. Averaging up & down since the very start.. Just over 800k shares heading for 1m before it hits 5 pennies. High risk for sure but every quarter that passes the risk lessons. This is still a long hold for me as in it until all planned plants are up & running. I have a strong buy given we are at near lows given the economy 2 wars inflation .. Once all that negativity is behind us I'm sure the markets in general will bounce back as it is the Blue chips that are carrying the markets at the min.. Apple Microsoft RR to name but a few that are peaking.. safe money... Once markets loosen up I'm sure we will be smiling.
That worth comment was not concerning the merger.. If you had listened to the podcast b4 ur question you would have known that. Yes, I believe this will be a multi million £ company once it becomes established over the next 5 to 10 yrs pending how quickly they roll out the other plants. More importantly if ur an investor surely you're a believer.. otherwise why would you be involved..
TM1 @TechMinerals .
''This company is going to be worth hundreds & hundreds of millions of pounds''.. new ticker will be RG1 once Recyclus has been brought out and amalgamated with TM1!!!

Sorry miscalculation.. or i prefer typo lol.. ''You are saying the company can only process on a 1 shift rota a maximum of 2080 tons per year lol.. Not the stated 20'000 py. So holding 100 tons as stated by the company would be futile and take 50 yrs to process what they have on site'' goodness knows how I got to that figure lol.. probably in too much of a rage with the guys continued shorting spin.. I do appologise
And why would WMG choose Recyclus as its preferred partner or is this also more faulse hoods lol.. ''Following a competitive tender process, WMG, University of Warwick, has selected Recyclus to design, manufacture, supply, install, commission, and train operators for the use of an industrial-grade Li-ion battery shredder''
And to accuse the governmental Department for Business of copy-past plagiarism without DD in such an important document is laughable. Also laughable is your quote ''Based on the images we can see'' and that is your expert opinion lol.. on what you can see from released photos lol.. give me a break.. i have been invested in this high-risk start-up to now becoming medium risk from the beginning. Yes, this could go belly up.. that's the whole point of start-ups.. after doing my own DD I am happy with the risk.. NOW another point.. i am on this thread as an investor with a long-term goal and hopefully will benefit once the company become established long-term.. what is your benefit of coming here day in day out lol.. Isn't there a well-known financial platform for Fools.. maybe that site would be more suited for you
