I do find it funny how they dangled carrots in front of us for 2 years, with pretty much radio silence on twitter when we begged for news and sales update, and now the shoes on the other foot they are desperate to prop up and comfort their institutional investors who bought in at 25p.

I do think the recent twitter activity and need for validation shows we still have a long way to go before any deal is signed off.

Anyway rant over, hopefully this all concludes soon(including the war) and we can all rest easy.

Time and time again people keep stating that EUA is a UK company, however the fundamental fact is the precious metals are on Russian soil not in the yorkshire dales.

If Russia can have ambitions to seize a whole sovereign country, they wouldnt stop short of seizing assets on their own land, belonging to a "UK Company" . Wake up. This is now high risk and ANYTHING can happen in the next few days, weeks, months - do not disregard all the possible outcomes of this just because you are emotionally invested.

BPs shareholding of Rosneft is valued on their books at £14 Billion, but is worth around half that as their share price tanked this week and will tank further when the markets open, so BP will get less than £7 billion for it

Even more reason for us to listen to those who have a different opinion, and respect those who write from a pragmatic point of view rather than being emotionally fueled by their investment.

Agreed Soundsrisky - if anything the buyer has alot more bargaining power now to drive the price down if nothing has been signed yet. Lets just hope we get a sale of some sort full stop, and within the VERY near future.

Not cross ramping - but just had a look at Evraz mining (another large russian mining company) and they have bounced back and currently up above their initial 5% dip this morning, so there could be some hope for us yet. Hopefully the market scoops this dip, the bod provide and rns, and the shareprice can be sustained significantly above this level.

Very valid point, at this rate we can only hope for a positive outcome. However like you say, despite the "fundamentals" things can go south quickly.
